After doing our research throughout the outer banks, my boyfriend and I booked a room at the Beach Inn for a MDW road-trip from DC and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We were thrilled to find such warm and accommodating hosts in Lisa and Jen - their recommendations on things to do and places to eat were spot on, there... More

We never saw the ocean and this was our first place we stopped. We spend the week here, it is so nice here since you can go to so many places where the water is shallow. Every day the water was calm and we never saw a shark! This place is clean and very friendly staff. They told us how... More

The hotel is basic enough to fit right in with the local vibe but contains a surprising amount of character. The owners are great, bikes on site, across the street from the Atlantic, super clean. I can't really ask for anything more.

We were looking for a getaway to this area for the weekend after Thanksgiving. After a lot of research on inns and B&Bs in Nags Head, I settled on the Nags Head Beach Inn based primarily on Tripadvisor reviews. I'm glad I made the reservation, because this place was great. We were the last guests on the last weekend of... More

Lisa, Elizabeth, and Toby are the finest examples of gracious hospitality I have ever experienced in my world travels. This inn is quaint, spotless, and has everything one needs for a perfect off-the-beaten path nesting spot. It is steps away from the beach, ice cream, and a couple restaurant/pubs. We stayed in a jacuzzi room and loved it. When I... More

I cannot rave enough about the Nags Head Beach Inn! Lisa and Elizabeth were incredibly hospitable and charming. Making my reservation was a breeze. Elizabeth got me booked and gave me all of the vital information regarding their Inn over the phone. She asked me to call an hour ahead of my arrival to see if my room was ready.... More

After doing a lot of research, I chose this inn for a special trip to celebrate my wedding anniversary. My wife and I stayed two nights. Friday we had a good experience- friendly staff, a clean (if not fancy) room, and a quiet night's sleep. Saturday was a different story. Around 10:15 p.m., we heard very loud music in our... More

We just got back from a stay at the Inn, and we had a fantastic time! Elizabeth and Lisa were accommodating from the minute we got there. They thought of pretty much everything for their guests' convenience - drinks and snacks set up all day; beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes available for us to use; even thoughtful details like shampoo... My wife and I have been going to the Outer Banks for many years. In the Fall we'll typically stay in one of the oceanfront motels, but this year we decided to try a B&B. Tripadvisor listed this one #1 so we figured we couldn't go wrong. The Nags Head Beach Inn lived up to its number one ranking in... More

Owner Ken took care of all the details - wonderful breakfast to order, beautiful and well-appointed rooms. Complimentary sodas, coffee, desserts all day. This is an immaculate establishment, very well maintained, and one block from the beach. Close to restaurants, shops, and activities. Brilliant!
