My husband and I celebrated or anniversary at the Robin's Nest and we were so glad we did. Robin was a fabulous hostess and did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed our day at the Whitewater Center and the Robin's Nest was the perfect respite to come back to.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We came for the 50th Mustang anniversary show. Robin made our stay so special. She made a full breakfast every morning and a wonderful dessert every evening. We rented out the whole house. So, it was just us. It felt like home away from home without the cooking and maintenance. Robin have us... More

Just like songbird111963, my husband and I were on a road trip and also thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Robin's Nest. Our room was perfect, very clean and decorated tastefully. We enjoyed our breakfast. Robin is a great cook! We also enjoyed talking with her. It was nice having her with us at the breakfast table. If we are... More

We had a lovely stay at Robin's Nest, and were treated so hospitably by Robin, despite the fact that she had just had knee surgery. She made a delicious and varied breakfast each day, baked cookies and pies for us to eat in the evening or take out in the day, and left us to relax in private in the... More

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Robin's Nest. Robin was such a great person to talk to. I felt like I had known her for quite sometime. She has that type of personality. Robin is also a fantastic cook!!! Very clean rooms and very accommodating. I would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling around NC especially... More

I recently stayed in the Hummingbird Room at Robin's Nest in the cute little town of Mt. Holly. My room and adjoining bathroom were spotless and cutely decorated in shabby chic decor. Robin, the innkeeper, could not be more accommodating and helpful. She has anticipated a guest's every need and provides hot and cold beverages, homemade afternoon snacks, and advice... More

I am not sure why the one reviewer was not happy. This was a great experience for us. We went to Coca Cola 600 over Memorial Day 2013 and stayed here. Robin cooks an amazing full breakfast and schedules according to your need to depart. We ate at 9:00 and at 7:00. Full breakfast with banana pancakes, fresh fruit, egg... More

Robin's Nest gave us a comfortable place to stay. Her B&B was clean, but cluttered. Our room was small and had magazines that were decades old. Robin was accommodating but had too long of a to-do list. The gardens were over-grown but could a real addition to this property. The breakfast was fine and the coffee was a highlight. For... More

I'm so sorry to hear you had a disappointing stay. If you stayed recently, as I am guessing, you probably did find an unkept garden (that used to be my pride and joy) and a few things needed to be uncluttered, as I have had a stressful time with a mother on her death bed and a dad who needs... My husband and I stayed a night during our spring break while we were traveling to Myrtle Beach. This was the best experience! We were so pleasantly surprised by the large bedroom, bathroom, and sitting rooms. Breakfast was incredible, and Robin had every thing that we needed for snacks and drinks the night before, too. We would stay again in... More

We stayed there over the weekend of January 18, 2013. It was a wonderful experience. Robin directed us to a wonderful restaurant and cooked our choice for breakfast. (5 star breakfast.) The WIFI worked well. The house was built in 1914 and was in remarkably good shape. If you like birds, at one time there were 12 cardinals at the... More
