About 10 minutes from downtown Mt. Airy. Nice hotel with nice amenities and a decent breakfast. The staff was remarkable, especially Dawn at the front desk. Would definitely stay again. The only drawback the outdoor pool is only opened in the summer.

Mt. Airy, NC is the town that lent itself to be transformed into Mayberry for the Andy Griffith episodes. That Mayberry charm still exists with the hospitality of the staff of Mt. Airy's Best western Bryson Inn. While the facility may be aged, so is the charm displayed by the motel's staff; aged meaning that it is a treasure that... More

I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and we hope that if you are back in the area or traveling through you will stop and stay again. Yes, the hotel was built in the early 80's but we try to keep it up to date with all the others. I also try to train the staff to treat each guest... More

This was our second stay at this hotel. The room was big and very clean. The staff was excellent. The price was lower compared to other hotels in the area. We would stay again since it is convenient to the interstate and a great value for the price.

This hotel knows nothing about hospitality. I was very disappointed in our stay there. The breakfast made me sick. check out was at 11 am. I needed 30 minutes longer to finish getting dressed. It was in the middle off the week. The staff was aware of my medical issues before I arrived. They said they would charge us for... More

Hotel is neat and clean. Beds are really comfortable and the staff is pleasant and very professional. Depending on where you live in Florida and travelling to Upstate New York, this hotel is the half way mark. It is right off the exit. Mt. Airy is a quaint little town to take a stroll. One disadvantage is this hotel charges... More

I am glad you guys stayed with us and I wish that you would continue to stay with us. As for charging for a refrigerator, that is not the cause, the only rooms we have at this time with a refrigerator are rooms with a king size bed and those room rates are a little higher and always have been,... Friendly helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms. We easily found downtown Mt. Airy (Mayberry). Would have enjoyed a hot tub or indoor pool. The outdoor pool was closed for winter. Decent breakfast with boiled eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels, toast, etc. We would definitely go back.

Very clean but no restaurant nearby that doesn't serve food off the buffet even though you order from menu. Eat on the road before checking in unless you want to drive to another exit. Good coffee at the continental breakfast in morning check the dates on the milks as they are sometimes expired..

Hey I am glad you enjoyed your stay, we strive hard to make sure your room is clean. As for the restaurant down below, we do have items that are menu only but yes some of the stuff could come from the buffet , but we assure you that it is fresh, and a for the milk, i am not... More

Clean and comfortable beds, once you finally get checked in. They lost our reservation and it took time getting a room. Luckily they had a room and we were able to stay. Free Wifi, a little slow but you get on well enough. We called in the next morning to get a Late check out and they wouldn't let us... More

Hi, I am sorry for your problems, but I am not aware of a reservation that was lost. As for the late check out we are not really able to do a late check because or check in time is 2:00 and we have to have the rooms ready. I am glad you have a clean comfortable room. I also... More

Our room, unfortunately for just one night, surpassed our expectations. Extremely clean & very comfortable. Breakfast area was very attractive. Television was up to date. Receptionist provided password and ID name for us upon check-in. Getting on the internet was fast & painless once the office provided us with the correct log in information. Especially nice hotel...will definitely stay again... More

My family and I were driving from Florida and decided to stop. This Best Western was very good. We had no problem checking in, the room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast they provided was good but the room was small.
