Just wanted to say that we blindly selected this hotel prior to our arrival. We are glad that we did. The hotel was clean, the continental breakfast had something for everyone and it was conveniently located minutes from the airport and surrounding restaurants. Tina was a great help and a pleasure to deal with! more

My husband and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn for one night for a very early flight (5:30 am)...I choose the place because is close to the airport and they had a shuttle service. We did have to wait for the shuttle after return our rental car for about 15/20 minutes after I called the hotel and asked for the... more

A quick history on myself so you understand my comments. I was a Platium Minimum for years (5 or 6) when I had a bad experience at the Courtyard in Greenville. Have been a Diamond Member for about 3 years until I had a bad experience in Asheville. I came back to Marriott late fall last year and became a... more

My husband & I spent five nights at this property when in town visiting friends & taking care of some personal business. Being the holidays, we were worried about high prices, but this hotel had great rates for the week ($65/night advance purchase, $55/night AAA). Plus we are Marriott Rewards members who are close to another free night, so this... more

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel for work. It is in a decent location with several restaurants close by. Room was comfortable and was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. It could have used a little bit heavier linens as they felt somewhat cheap. Also, at times the noise was a bit much unless I had the AC cranked up.... more

Fairly new and very comfortable accommodations. The only problem is that it is in the flightpath of RDU. So you will hear the planes if the ac/heater is not on. Then again so are all the others in the immediate area. There is a very small outlet with a few stores that you can walk to just to get out... more

We've stayed at this property twice in the last month (once in Sept., once in August.) and each stay has been above par. I always book Marriott properties if available and was looking for something comfortable and inexpensive. This is a very good Fairfield with a wonderful staff. The front desk workers, housekeeping, etc. are all friendly, helpful and actually... more

Pros: Clean, Comfortable, good A/C Cons: 9:30 breakfast room really closes up at 9. This is the best hotel so far at RDU airport, of the three I have tried recently (see Pros, above). I will not say that the other two hotels are also Marriott properties, you will have to come to that conclusion on your own. But for... more

We stayed here for a week while visiting Raleigh, NC. It is close to the major highways which made getting around very easy. The hotel was clean and neat. It was very humid while there and they did their best to keep the humidity inside down with dehumidifiers in the halls. We only had one problem. Our remote control didn't... more
