We got this hotel as part of a Hotwire booking during the busy Memorial Day weekend. The location is great since it is so close to 70 and not far from the bridge to Atlantic Beach. Like most Econo Lodges and Quality Inns, it is a basic place with no frills. The room was pretty clean. The mattress was really... More

Our room was clean and nice for an inexpensive motel. Staff was nice and friendly. After we left, we realized that we had left articles of clothing. We called and they shipped to us. I love that customer service. I would definitely stay there again.

A reasonably priced hotel. Front desk staff was friendly. Disappointed that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed well. Just one more minute of vacuuming up the crumbs and other dirt left by the previous guest would have made a much better impression. The hotel wasn't busy, so they shouldn't have been rushed.

I would have asked for a new room or left had I not arrived after midnight and had a free room with reward points. While I understand that Econo Lodge is not high end, I do expect a clean bed, shower, sink, and carpet at any level of accommodations. I was in the area for the North Carolina Seafood Festival... Basic room, clean with ample towels. Internet free but it went in and out, tho not too terribly annoying if you're just surfing the net. Problem was other guests who clomped down the stairs with luggage at 6am. We could also hear every ice cube fall from the machine (also at 6am). Recommend getting a room as far away from... More

Stayed in the back of the hotel building from July 21 - July 24, 2014, and were very impressed with the room, quietness & cleanliness for the price! We definitely will stay there again in the future! It is not a luxury hotel, but for two it was just perfect!

Stayed at the Econo Lodge for 2 nights, for a fishing trip. Hotel was very clean and nice. looks like it was recently renovated. New carpet, new paint, everything looked good. The TV is small compared to most hotels, small CRT not flat screen. Hotel is used mostly by workers who are working on the hospital across the street. they... More

Thank you very much for your review of our hotel. We appreciate your business. We have made some upgrades to our rooms and have more scheduled for later this year. Flat screen TV's are one of them! I am sorry that you had a small model and for the noise. You are correct in that we have a lot of... More

My wife and I needed a room for one night during the "on season" in the Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area. We found this hotel online and the price seemed reasonable. The man at the front desk was friendly and check-in went smoothly. We had a first level room at the end of the building with our car parked right in... More

We evacuated to this hotel due to Hurricane Arthur coming and our home is in a low lying area of the county. I requested a handicap accessible pet friendly room and was pleasantly surprised that one was even available especially for about $100. Upon checking in, everything seemed to be okay. Later in the evening my little white Poodle mix... More

No complaints. The room was very clean, nicely furnished, everything worked as it should and desk staff was friendly. Most importantly the rate was great. Also I found the lobby to be a large step above comparably priced hotels---well-appointed, fresh-looking and very clean--a place where you wouldn't mind sitting in if you wanted to. Not sure about the comments about... More
