I have been a frequent guest at this hotel for over two years. I can't say enough about what a pleasant experience it has been for me and continues to be. This Hampton Inn is located just a short distance from the Charlotte city limits. It offers refuge from busy intersections and interstate highways. If it's peace and quiet you're... more

We stay at this hotel every time we watch our daughter's softball games at Wingate University. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are impeccable. The staff has always been nothing but courteous. My only complaint is the walls seem to be a bit thin allowing noises from adjoining rooms and the side street outside our window to be... more

I must update my review of Monroe, NC hotels. We have always stayed at the Best Western, and I have writtten positive reviews for it previously. While the Best Western is a very nice hotel, it cannot compare to the recently renovated Hampton Inn. I was not even aware that this hotel existed until searching for a hotel close to... more

Overall the hotel was extremely pleasant. The front desk was very helpful. The room was in the new wing of the hotel, recently remodeled. The queen size bed was very soft and the room was clearly recently refurbished, containing a flat screen tv and spacious bathroom. The view from the room is fairly plain but overall the accommodations were excellent.... more

I was in Monroe for work from April 6-9 and this was my first stay at the Hampton Inn. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Matthews, but I found out about our corporate rate so I figured I'd try it out. The lobby is average. Friendly staff behind the desk. Quick check-in. Fresh coffee even in the... more

I have stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time now in 2 years for work. The rennovations seemed finished for the most part which was nice. The room was updated. Nice marble countertop in the bathroom with a neat wooden stand under it where they folded the towels. The only drawback was there were no towel racks to hang... more

My husband & I stayed here one night on a trip to vist our son who lives nearby. The room was incredibly clean and neat. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and looked "swanky"! The bathroom was very clean and I take baths not showers so a clean bath is very important to me. It was very convenient to shopping, restaurants... more

My Husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and to our surprise, They had the room decorated so beautifully. We did't want to go home because the bed slept sooooo good and everything was so nice and clean. The breakfat bar attendant was extra nice and so was the front desk clerk Mary,I almost forgot about the night shift... more
