My husband and I stayed at "the reach" cabin for our 5th wedding anniversary. The entire place was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away from everyday life. They give fresh eggs, fresh bread, honey and jam and it's really good. They are very helpful answering any questions you have. All of there cabins have... More

We loved everything about this place and would definitely return. The location is excellent, the cabins are really well furnished and very secluded. You can't see any neighbours at all, you'd think you were staying in the forest alone! Zee and Arthur are lovely hosts (as were the dogs, Miss Belle & Jerry Lee). If travelling from the airport navigate... More

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and we were charmed from minute one. First if you don't know. These cabins were hand made from fallen trees on the property. As well as the master bedroom furniture. It truly does give you a connection with your surroundings. We go to the mountains for seclusion and time to reflect... More

The cabin was lovely and the hot tub was relaxing and warm! My only true complaint was the smell of moth balls. That is a certain smell that I am unable to stomach. It hit me as soon as we walked in. Upon returning home I had to wash every item that we brought along. Other than than that hiccup... More

A long weekend getaway. Very well kept property with hiking trails.Loved having the owner's dog walk with us! Stayed at the Bimini Twist one night, and The Reach 2. Comfortable beds, linens, stocked kitchen. Spent the evenings in the hot tub. The last night we had a steak dinner catered to the cabin- delicious, private, romantic. The cabins are secluded and... This is a wonderful private get away. 6 cabins and the owner's beautiful home sit on 90+ acres which makes true privacy achievable. We stayed in the Outrigger which is probably one of the most private cabins on the property as it sits by itself up a pretty steep hill. However all the cabins are spaced well apart and you... More

We just returned from a quick stay at Spring House Farm. This ECO friendly escape is 40 minutes or so from Asheville but like another world. The cabin was so comfortable and so well stocked. Everything was crisp and clean. I didn't get the "bread thing" until I picked it up (warm) and had to smell it all the way... More

The cabins -- there are only six of them -- are beautiful. Real wooden floors. Log ceilings with wood beans. Comfortable furniture; outdoor hot tub, barbecue grill, rope bed in the sun room. Zee and Arthur Campbell make every effort to make your stay wonderful; they even volunteered to plow out the path to the cabin in January for us;... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. It was a wonderful trip. We stayed in the Bimini Twist cottage, and loved it. We bought groceries in town, and cooked in the kitchen. It was well appointed enough that we had everything we needed to cook. The homemade bread was delicious! We ate it with the fresh eggs,... More
