The hotel keeper was so helpful... I have been staying with Allen and his family for many years... always clean and fresh rooms. Any problems are handled ASAP ! His son is a Gem and even washed my van on my last visit ... (yes I tipped him) always looking forward to my stays at the Hearth and Home Inn

A comfortable stay while looking to hike Mt LeConte in the Smoky Mountains. The drive to the Mt Leconte trail heads are about an hour away from the motel but its a beautiful drive to absorb the views of the fantastic Smoky Mountains. The guy at front desk was extremely friendly and helped with questions asked. The rate you pay... More

Thanks for choosing our little place in Maggie Valley. My family and I work hard to keep our prices moderate for the "normal" traveler. Most of the time it works out. We absolutely live in one of the greatest areas of the United States and I love to brag about it when I can. You only got to experience a... More

Having seen the pictures of the newly updated room on the computer...we were looking forward to a beautiful suite to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and my Birth Day. What a tremendous letdown!!! The room we got looked nothing like what we saw on line. It was small and even though had new paint and a tiled bathroom was very... More

First of all thank you for choosing my little place in Maggie Valley. My family and I work very hard to give decent and hardworking people a good stay. Ninety-nine percent of the folks enjoy their stay, it's unfortunate you are in the 1%. It would have been very helpful for you to have indicated your displeasure prior to your... More

If you are reading this review in hopes of finding a Hilton or Mariott room on a Motel 6 budget, then please do us all a favor and pay the extra money to stay at one of those corporate run tourist traps. Wow. What a great place. We come here every year & it keeps getting better. The owner is constantly upgrading it yet the prices don't rise. We recently stayed in a nice King room with a brand new fridge, new carpet, new comforter, new bed, TV, H & A, microwave, coffee maker & more! I recently stayed at a high... More

Although pet friendly, 'king' rooms are off limits to pets. Upon check-in our ground floor accommodations were clean; inn is showing age and wear like many small motels in the area. We could easily hear the people above our room moving around, but once they retired noise wasn't an issue. If only a one night stay, we could give a... More

I stayed there this past weekend and had a great time. The owner Allen is awesome. He made sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, no foul odor, linens were clean, and pillows weren't bad at all. The mattress wasn't the greatest, but by no means was it the worst that I have slept... More

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel over the weekend the weekend before July 4th with a group of 20 other people. I was hospitably greeted by the inkeeper, Allen, at the front desk when i walked into the office. This hotel only has about 20 rooms, so they can be very personal when it comes to service.... More

After a very poor experience with a motel in Cherokee we drove around for a couple of hours in the middle of the night looking for some place to stay. There were no rooms to be found (everyone had up "no vacancy" signs). We just happened on Hearth and Home in Maggie Valley. Although it was a typical motel, it... More
