The room was clean and looked like the pictures but we had to wait 1 1/2 hours PAST check-in to get into our room. The WIFI did NOT work nor did the cable television. On top of all of that, I had to wait 2 hours to get hot water to take a shower on Saturday night due to the... More

Most of all, thank you for choosing my little place in Beautiful Maggie Valley. My family and I work very hard to make sure everyone has a great stay in a clean and comfortable room. It's unfortunate you did not enjoy your stay. 99% of of my guests have a great time even with imperfections. Sadly you are in the... More

I have been staying here for months. I travel to Waynesville several times a month. This is a small simple motel, with nice amenities a microwave ,coffee pot refrigerator with a couple bottles of water. 2 areas outside with fire pits and a grill. The rooms are clean. Alan the owner is very accommodating. After staying one night I mention... More

We love this place and we found it by accident searching for a place to stay while traveling with our 3 furry children in October. Alan is so nice and accommodating he feels like an ole friend. Example: putting us on the end room, ground level when he saw me in a walking 'boot' and my husband's handicap plates also... More

The hotel is run by a really nice guy. Very welcoming to us. Rooms are comfortable with soft thick towels, good thread count sheets, and a very comfortable bed. No frills, but very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly... A must for us when we travel with our fur children. Great location to the gateway of the Smokies!

We had planned on driving through the night, but realized around 9 pm we should probably stop. We hadn't made any reservations, so decided to try to find a place to spend the evening. We drove a few moments, and spotted a sign for Hearth and Home. It looked nicely kept and very welcoming. Little did we know, the most... More

Gotta love the price, location, and cleanliness. Need to ask for a top floor room or you'll probably hear every move your overhead neighbors make. Also be aware that the road noise is very noticeable, nothing overwhelming just plan accordingly.

I have stayed at the Hearth and Home Inn probably 6 or 7 times now over the past two years (I have a daughter at Western Carolina who I drive out to visit from time to time). Love this place! Yes, it is an "older" motel - just takes me back to the hotels typical in the 1960s/70's :), but... More

The owner went out of his way to see that our stay was great. The funny thing was another motel owner called him and booked the room for us. The price was reasonable and the room was clean. When I called to secure the room he didn't even take my last name or c/c info because of who booked the... More

You found the other reason Maggie Valley is such a treasure. We try to treat everyone here like family... even our "competition." We look out for one another and always step up to help each other out. We want everyone to have a great visit to our beautiful valley. My family and I enjoyed having you, your wife and the... More

A comfortable stay while looking to hike Mt LeConte in the Smoky Mountains. The drive to the Mt Leconte trail heads are about an hour away from the motel but its a beautiful drive to absorb the views of the fantastic Smoky Mountains. The guy at front desk was extremely friendly and helped with questions asked. The rate you pay... More

Thanks for choosing our little place in Maggie Valley. My family and I work hard to keep our prices moderate for the "normal" traveler. Most of the time it works out. We absolutely live in one of the greatest areas of the United States and I love to brag about it when I can. You only got to experience a... More
