It was time to visit the Western North Carolina mountains; the colors are always magnificent in October. We visit the area every year to take pictures of the leaves and the people of this most beautiful area and every year we stay at a different B & B. Timberwolf Creek was chosen this year from the reviews on this site;... more

Timberwolf Creek is a bit off the main road in Maggie Valley but close enough for shopping and meals without being inconvenient. There is a tendency to try and keep up with the current news story on TV but as soon as we opened the screen door and could hear the creek and see our slice of the mountain vista,... more

This was an extraordinary experience. The beauty of the mountains and the stream don't even begin to describe our stay at Timberwolf Creek. Our amazing room, fabulous breakfasts every morning, and wonderful , friendly people. We came back every night to a made bed and fresh towels. Our anniversary package of a massage, plus the fresh fruit, supper, and champagne... more

I love to visit Timberwolf Creek and rent the entire Blackbear Cottage and order the breakfast along with it. Sandy's cooking is not to be missed. She is wonderful. She will do anything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The Blackbear Cottage is wonderful with the deck right out over the creek and even though you are so... more

Four of us enjoyed a beautiful spring weekend away in the mountains in the exquisitely decorated Black Bear Cabin. The cabin pratctically sits right over the creek. From the private balcony of the Streamsong Room, we enjoyed the sights and sounds of the cascading water as every ounce of tension melted away, dripped down into the stream and was carried... more

We spent three wonderful nights at Timberwolf Creek. What a great experience for two very weary type A's. Our suite was so beautiful, immaculately clean and comfortable with one absolutely thoughful detail after another. I loved the big whirlpool tub for soaking and letting those stresses of my job fade away. We were so impressed with high quality coffee and... more

Sandee and Larry are wonderful hosts who will do their best to ensure that your stay at Timberwolf Creek is a memorable one. They both offered several suggestions for sightseeing; all are places that display the natural beauty of the mountains but are not frequented by tourists. After one of Sandee's gourmet breakfasts (we had her Breakfast Bread Pudding), you... more

You really can sleep to the sounds of the stream! It is like playing one of those sounds of nature tapes to go to sleep ... only it is real. Sandee and Larry are wonderful hosts. You feel at home right away. Anything they can do to make your stay more pleasant they jump to do it. And the food.... more

Timberwolfcreek bed and breakfast in Maggie Valley, NC is truly a piece of heaven. The property is quietly removed from major roads and has a gorgeous mountain stream that tumbles down the mountain. The water sounds are so peaceful and relaxing. We wanted to see a lot of the area but it was hard to leave the property we were... more
