My husband and I visited the TImberwolf Creek and Maggie Valley in early April as part of a long road trip. We had originally planned to stay two nights, with their bed and breakfast rental option. But we found ourselves staying on two more, it was so relaxing! Our hosts, the Innkeepers Sandee & Larry, were so delightful. Sandee's young adult... more

My husband and I live in Florida and were looking for a nice personal mountain wedding. We both LOVE Western North Carolina and have spent many vacations there. It was only normal to want to have our wedding there. We had both been married before so we wanted something extremely simple but very special none the less. I did a... more

Our stay at the cozy and comfortable Timberwolf Creek was nothing less then magic. We had the most amazing room facing the great smoky mountains AND a wonderful mountain creek that seemed to flow practically through the house. Sleeping next to this creek that wraps from one end of the house to the other provided some of the best sleep... more

In California, where we are from, this site would be considered a State Park and no one would be allowed to enjoy it. In the great state of North Carolina, you can sip your coffee in your slippers and robe and watch the creek without being bothered until evening if you wanted. I kept thinking back to an expression that... more

Road weary innkeepers are we and that also makes us picky, picky picky! Despite our efforts to find something constructive to share with our collegues, Sandee & Larry ,on the art of hospitality all efforts were to the contrary, not a single thing could have been any better. The walk from the parking area across the bridge to the Creek... more

Gorgeous creekside property a short distance from town but in its own world. Congenial proprietors who go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Have stayed in both the Black Bear Cottage and the larger B & B property. Both are private and secluded. Charming Black Bear Cottage is small and romantic; the B & B... more

We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it. Sandy made things very homelike, but she didn't make us do the dishes. Sandy and Sarah (a neighbor) cooked breakfast southern style and discussed the finer points of grits from scratch or instant. We live in California at a break neck pace, and this was just the ticket to... more

We were married at Timberwolf Creek, and spent a beautiful relaxing week there for our honeymoon. We were so surprised to find such a romantic, comfortable, and inviting B&B. The rooms are filled with character, comfort, and space...the proprietors are so down to earth and friendly; they touched our lives as much as the beautiful accomodations and surroundings did. The... more

We knew we wanted a private wedding but didn't know where. We searched the internet for destination weddings: far (vegas) and near (in town), high (mountains) and low (beaches), foreign (islands) and fast (drive-throughs), but kept coming back to the Timber Wolf Creek B&B's website in North Carolina's mountain region. We decided on TWCB&B because of the mountain setting and... more

We stayed at Timberwolf Creek for a short and sweet honeymoon and it was just delightful, we should have stayed longer! We are hoping to go back for our anniversary. Sandee prepared a wonderful breakfast for us and the other guests and made us feel right at home. I left behind my glasses and Sandee shipped them out to me... more
