Rooms arent that great and they service SUCKED !!! They expect you to pay for the local ride maps that everyone else provides free. You even have to pay for ice. Officially the WORST bed I have ever stayed in and we travel all the time. They give you 2 pillows that dont even amount to one. We were told... more

Our large group of motorcycle enthusiasts used A Holiday as our base for the weekend. Ron and Gabby went WAY ABOVE and beyond to make our event successful. Ron was up early each morning and stayed up late into the evening making sure we had everything we needed, breakfast to camp fire wood. Gabby took care of logistics including making... more

We were on the way to Gatlinburg for a stay over the Easter holiday, but decided to split the drive up and spend Good Friday in Maggie Valley. We chose A Holiday Motel based on the reviews here. The pictures reminded my wife and I of the types of motels we stayed at when we were children on family vacations,... more

We came to Maggie Valley mostly to Snow Ski and find some place to hike. We did both hike and ski and alot more thanks to Gabi and Rob. My family and I will always remember how welcoming and helpful you two were in finding other things for us to do, like the train ride. To who ever reads this,... more

The motel is special mainly because of its amazing owners! My teenage son and I stayed twice in 2008 for our first two ski trips ever. Gabi gave us all kinds of skiing advice and Rob helped us with some minor problems in our room at about midnight the first trip. When the ski slope was closed for the day... more

We just probably had the Best Time Ever at a motel! We talked about staying at the Microtel down the road, but then looked at A Holiday Motel's pictures on their site. That's what changed our minds, and I am so glad that we did!!!! The owners of the motel were incredibly friendly and accomodating! The room was very clean, and... more

We booked at the last minute for a trip to Maggie Valley to see the Wheels Through Time museum. Gabi was very helpful and the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for - clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced and within easy walking distance of attractions, restaurants and shopping. The Saturday evening bonfire/marshamallow roast was way more fun than we... more
