I have stayed at the Stony Creek Motel a few times now. The rooms are a bit dated but that seems to be the norm in Maggie Valley. I never have to worry about my room being dirty or dingy: they are always super clean! The owners are nice and accommodating as well. The location is within walking distance to... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms need to be painted and updated. There were holes in the quilt on our bed. The bathroom was in need of some work as well. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. All in all it was what you would expect for $70 a night. A beautiful place outside but... More

I've stayed here a few times I love this place and I'll continue to stay here every chance I get! Every-time I have been I've enjoyed the customer service I always receive not to mention it's a family/american owned establishment the rooms are all different and a must see! very reasonable priced, can't wait to go back.

Wonderful little place. Absolutely loved falling asleep to the sound of a creek. The price was fair and the room was quaint and cozy. I totally recommend it to anyone coming to Maggie Valley, NC. Don't let the negative reviews fool you, folks can find fault in anything if they already have a bad attitude

We paid $70 and checked back out an hour later. Entire carpet stained. Room was full of moths and others bugs. Me and family starting getting bit by bugs we couldn't see and checked back out, at that point. Very outdated. Fridge not plugged in, window left open and owner went and checked room, after I killed all the moths,... More

Clean rooms and nice location. Nice creek directly behind hotel. The sound of the rushing creek is very relaxing. We had stayed at this hotel several years ago and everything was just as we remembered. William was very nice at check in and let me look at two different rooms prior to registering. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Rooms are older but bedding is clean and fun decor. The location and atmosphere is great. I love to hear the creek behind the hotel and the gazebo is nice to relax in. Very close to restaurants and good parking right outside your door. Motorcycle friendly.
