I don't think I've ever met a ruder woman with such a bad dye job. You will not find hospitality but a loud rude angry woman & a weird man who I think was her husband. The room smelled moldy, was dark & drab. It needs updating. We only stayed one night, checked out & found a new hotel. Save... More

It as been a wonderful experince and great host, clean rooms, location is wonderful to anything you need. Food, booze, mountains, creek, roads to explore. I've been there 4 times... More

We paid $70 and checked back out an hour later. Entire carpet stained. Room was full of moths and others bugs. Me and family starting getting bit by bugs we couldn't see and checked back out, at that point. Very outdated. Fridge not plugged in, window left open and owner went and checked room, after I killed all the moths,... More

Clean rooms and nice location. Nice creek directly behind hotel. The sound of the rushing creek is very relaxing. We had stayed at this hotel several years ago and everything was just as we remembered. William was very nice at check in and let me look at two different rooms prior to registering. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Our family has been staying at Stony Creek Motel every year (est) for 20 years. We have enjoyed every year and and plan to to return next year. The service has always been super nice and the office staff are very efficent. We highly recommend Stony Creek to everyone.

Rooms are older but bedding is clean and fun decor. The location and atmosphere is great. I love to hear the creek behind the hotel and the gazebo is nice to relax in. Very close to restaurants and good parking right outside your door. Motorcycle friendly.

My wife and I have stayed there four times this year so far. We usually stay for three or four days at a time for a calm peaceful getaway. This motel is a quiet treasure in Maggie Valley that is located next to a creek. This motel is very small and has ground floor rooms with no balconies and they... More
