Check in was very friendly & hospitable. Cottage was clean, well equipped, & ready for occupancy. I was lucky enough to be able to join in the music in the picnic area after dinner. This is a place I will certainly return to, very close to points of interest. more

Hi my husband and I had the chance to stay at the Alamo Motel the first weekend in May 2009. We loved it, Dave and Debbie were so nice. And they welcomed our two pets Little Bit and Minnie. Which most places in Maggie Valley are not pet friendly, but they made us feel right at home with our two... more

Road in from PA, picked the Alamo because "it was there", and man, what an excellent choice that turned out to be! Dave and Debbie, the owners are the poster people of "southern hospitality". we went to maggie valley for our honeymoon this may. we stayed at the alamo motel and cottages, and the place was beautiful. dave and debbie were very freindly and helpful. the cottages were very nice and the location was perfect. the alamo is located in the middle of maggie valley which makes it convient to travel to other little... more

Made our annual trip to Maggie Valley, NC. and stayed once again at the Alamo Motel & Cottages. Everything was great, as usual. The owner's...Dave & Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Rented a cabin behind the motel which is well equipped with whatever you need. Cabin was clean and fresh towels or whatever you need is brought everyday...anything you... more
