Cardinal Inn doesn't face the road, so a lot of the traffic noise is blocked. The rooms are large enough & one room has 2 full size bunk beds but only 1 bath, with full size refrigerator & stove. I've stayed here on all my trips to Maggie Valley since 2009, 5 times. The owners also have a lot next... More

This is a safe and clean place to stay at a great price! I travel to the area twice a month and found them about a month ago. This is my preferred place to stay! The rooms have a mini refer and a microwave. The owners were very nice and helpful. There is no wi-fi, but the Organic Beans coffee... More

This is our second time to stay here (was here July 2011). Nice size room, very clean, comfortable king size bed, microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. Very friendly owners. Good value and great location. Down side - no wifi (could be a good thing giving you a break from being connected to technology) and no breakfast (saved enough on cost... More

Motel on main road in Maggie Valley NC. Pros: Clean Good location Good price Cons: Bed and pillows hard This is a no frills motel w fridge, microwave and coffee pot. We typically spend most of our time hiking/ outside so the no frills was fine for us. The current owners do have the motel up for sale so this... More

I work in the entertainment business and have stayed in all kinds of hotel/motel/ghetto-tels. When we first stayed at Cardinal Inn the price was just over $40 per night. For that $40 odd dollars, we were told we could not use our credit card to pay for the rooms, the owner was rude and basically told us we would have... More

We stayed here after leaving a hotel down the road because it was dirty. The Cardinal was the same price with a cleaner room and friendlier staff. We walked down the road to mini-golf one night. It's a good little inn.

Nice little motel and not overly pricey. A pleasant property with a large lawn with 2 picnic benches plus a common front porch with 2 rockers and a porch swing. Was nice and quiet until the Harleys swarmed in for the night. But once everyone settled in it was reasonably quiet. All rooms are non-smoking (there is a $100 deposit... More

We stayed at the Cardinal Inn in Maggie Valley on November 11, 2006. It's a small (10 rooms) motel that's conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners are very pleasant. We paid $43.00 for a double room with microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. This motel is not posted on Trip Advisor,...
