Website does not indicate the size of the cabins which is approximately 400sq ft for what they call two bedrooms and a loft! The loft ceiling is approximately 3 feet high. No room for a piece of luggage. The shower barely fits a very small person and hard to turn around in it. The kitchen, futon, tv, eating table are... More

Karen, the host, shares her beautiful home, her delicious cooking, and wonderful stories with all who have the pleasure of staying with her. Our quaint little room was the Ranch hand suite. She had drinks in refridgerator and a few snacks in case we were got hungry before supper. I will be staying here again.

It was our 40th wedding anniversary and my wife and I discussed either going to the beach or the mountains. Our decision to head to Maggie Valley was mostly influenced by our desire to visit the Wheels Through Time Museum (we have been riding together since our first date, 45 years ago and continue to tour across the USA by... We were excited to get a few days away for a mini-vaca to our favorite place-Maggie Valley. We travel with our elderly dog and look for pet friendly accommodations. The cabins are not really cabins but small park type trailers with log siding. We arrived and entered our 'cabin' and after a 3 1/2 hour drive, started unloading car to... More

We found this place because it had good ratings. It is off the beaten trail, so use your GPS. Karen was a very nice inn keeper. Breakfasts were special. The rooms are beautiful and each one has a different theme. It is close to a lot of things in Maggie Valley and a short ride to Cherokee NC. We were... More

We spent 3 nights at Misty Mountain Ranch (& B&B). Karen was an exceptional host! The breakfasts she served every morning were great! The rooms were spacious and clean. The king size bead was great, linens were high quality. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Location is great, easy to find and no steep gravel or dirt roads to worry... More

We had a great time. Visited local waterfalls. We enjoyed, and photographed the views. Miss Karen is a really good cook. Loved the Jacuzzi tub. We feed the ducks and sat by the pond. We are from Wisconsin and loved exploring the area. We will visit again! Chris and Linda

Spur of the moment trip was made perfect by our stay at Misty Mountain Ranch. I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful setting or perfect accomodations. Everything was as promised and then some! Our hostess was more than gracious and breakfast was a real treat. Made me feel pampered and catered to all weekend! Located off the main... More

We very much enjoyed our weekend at MMR. The property is located away from traffic and is very quiet and peaceful. We even had a visit by a deer right outside the door during breakfast. Very relaxing stay.
