We spent four days in the Chestnut House rented out by the same folks that own The Valley Inn. The house itself was wondeful, but unfortunately was located only a couple hundred yards off of Soco Road. The traffic noise (especially the abundance of loud motorcycles) ruined the atmosphere of a cabin in the woods that we were expecting. (Pictures... more

This is a quiet, charming, cozy place to stay in Maggie Valley. Andy, the owner, will go out of his way to ensure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. The backyard of the inn is on a river and there is a gazebo, tables and a fire pit. The rooms are clean, comfortable and basic. (tv but no phone). If... more

I just wanted to let you know that our stay was great. We really enjoyed the rooms we had-it felt like home. We hope to return sometime with a group when the weather is warmer. We think that your place will be a great place to stay with the creek and chairs/swings out back and all, not to mention that... more

This is definitely one of the most enjoyable stays we had at a hotel. The rooms were clean and have a very home like feel to them. The back of the hotel, with it's fire pit, chairs, gliders, gazebo, and views of the creek was very nice. I only wish we had time to enjoy it, but every day we... more

We have stayed at The Valley Inn every since Andy & Linda Taylor have owned it. We would not stay anywhere else. They make you feel like you are "at home", and they treat you like you're their family. The motel is very clean and our room always smells good and fresh. We love the creek, along with the firepit,... more

We LOVE the Valley Inn and the owners, Andy & Linda Taylor. Its our "home away from home". We got married there in November of 2006. The beautiful creek and gazebo out back is a piece of heaven on earth. Every April and September we meet friends from Virginia at the Valley Inn and have a large time. Andy hosts... more

We are gospel singers and had the opportunity to sing in Maggie Valley. We stayed at the Valley Inn and the relaxation and view were so great. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Andy's hospitality was so great we plan a vacation time there this year. more
