My husband and I renewed our wedding vows at the Cataloochee Park in the Great Smoky Mountains and reserved a room for the evening at The Valley Inn in Maggie Valley. The view of the inn from the Hwy. was very quaint and inviting however was nothing in comparison to our room. When we opened the door I was literally... More

While the owner was very accommodating, and it was clean...the most important thing to me, I do wish the room had been larger. Loved the river view, but we were in the front so did not get the benefit of that amenity. We unknowingly got there on a biker weekend so the whole valley was crowded. That said, no prob... More

This is a real cool little motel. This was our first stay but not our last. The creek side rooms are great! and are very clean!! You can not ask for a better host than Andy he will treat you like he has known you forever. Out by the creek there are swings a gazebo and fire pit. The whole... More

Although this is not the Ritz it is a great little place to spend a weekend or more. The owners are very customer friendly and will do what they can to make you stay a good one. WIFI, cable, refrig, microwave, ice, laundry area, Gazebo, Swings and bench by the creek. Open your window and let the creek put you... More

The Inn provides friendly service and clean basic accommodations. The rooms are definitely retro in decor with rocking chairs outside your door. WiFi is free, but had to sit outside to gain a connection.

This was our third year in a row staying at The Valley Inn. Simple hotel but lovely creekside rooms with all the comforts of home. Andy always treats us like family. Everything on the property is for the guest to use. Including a gazebo, grills, swings, and fire pit. After taking in the sites each day it was nice to... More

I am a road side inn supporter. I look for the era of the 1930's, 40's, 50's, and 60's, once on the main roads and now off the beat'in path that our parents and grand parent may have stayed a night. I have stayed in the worst and have enjoyed a just get by room or two or three. But... More

I stayed here with my father and brother. The rooms are simple but clean. All appliances and bathroom fixtures worked perfectly. The wooden swings, gazebo, and grill being right on a beautiful rushing mountain creek were spectacular. We spent both nights sitting by a campfire beside the stream. Andy was super helpful - helping with finding shops we wanted, offering... More
