Good stopping place on our trip from Orlando to DC. Its definitely an older facility but the sites are level, bathrooms clean and kids can ride their bikes and play without worry. Definitely highway noise but couldnt hear with AC on. Sleepy Bear's is run by a sweet couple and deliver personal service you dont see much anymore. If you... More

My son and I stay here each time down and back to the Florida Gulf Coast. Owners are both friendly. Sites are paved and level. The location is excellent if you are travelling on interstate 95 as it is easy to get to. We have stayed her on both trips last August and this past July and August. Sites are... More

The park is older, but it's clean, quiet and convenient. The office people are very nice and it is easy to set up. This is these folks way of making a living, and I can see their efforts. Would I stay here more than one night? No, probably not. Not so much because of the park, but because there's nothing... More

This park was half-way on my trip from the North Carolina coast to the North Carolina mountains. When I pulled in with my camper, I was met by very friendly staff who escorted me to my site, and invited me to join the festivities of a camping club that was there for the weekend. The sites are shaded and pull... More

We stopped here one night on our way down to Florida. Everyone was extremely friendly. Nice large pull thru site and they placed us near the bath house since we had not yet de-winterized our trailer. Very quiet and clean campground. Conveniently located off I-95 so it did not take us long to get back on the road.

We had an excellent experience at Sleepy Bear's. When calling to make reservations, I was greeted by a friendly voice telling me there is always space available for another friend to join them, and then asked how they can help us save money if we qualified for a discount on our stay. (We are active duty military and saved 10%)... More

Stayed here for one night while traveling south on 95. Made reservations online while was pretty straight forward. Called the office and informed them I wouldn't be arriving until close to midnight. Woman in the office was very friendly and explained thier after hours check in. I wouldn't want to vacation here but for a overnight stay I would recommend... More

There is not one thing that I can recommend about staying at this place. It should be condemned! My family and I are stuck at a The Sleepy Bear's RV Park, Lumberton, NC, only because we are too exhausted to leave and continue driving. The feeling here is one of being in a horror movie... I am appalled at the... More

We were on our way from Daytona back to Pennsylvania and this was about the halfway point. We were only here overnight the owners were manning the office. We were shown to our site which was right near the playground we could keep our grandson in site without having to be right with him. We started to hook up and... More
