I have no complaints about this restaurant it was awesome food, views and staff!!! The prices were good too! It's just off the parkway!! I will definitely be a returning customer! When you get there the view will take your breath away. It did me! By far one of the best places to eat in the nc mountains!

We totally enjoyed our dinner here. The staff was knew the menu, food and were polite and fast. The food was unique and tasted superior. We enjoyed the view and ambience of the room. We both had and enjoyed fresh local trout, cooked perfectly.

I was able to enjoy this gem of a restaurant for lunch on two different occasions . The weather was perfect to sit outside and the view breathtaking . Service was friendly and fast . Food was delicious and unique. Can't say how delightful my experience was. Just a wonderful place .

I looked for the restaurant site itself, and unable to locate on TA. My friend and I came down from Bear Den Campground (mile marker 324.8) south, and took the exit at milepost 331. This was the same exit for the NC Mineral Museum. The restaurant and motel are just a stones throw from the museum. Ask at the Museum... More

What a pleasant surprise. We were driving along the Parkway and stopped at the Little Switzerland Inn hotel just to check it out. They were closed for the season but a worker told us we could look around. We asked him if there were any restaurants we could stop at for lunch. He told us of the Mountain View Motel... More

I've never been in or stayed in the actual motel and I don't know of anyone who has... however, the Mountain View Restaurant is awesome! Lunch and dinner menus are different, with the lunch being more casual (sandwiches and some entrees) and dinner being primarily entrees. I've dined here numerous times and I absolutely love the food. For lunch, I... More

This restaurant sits on the edge of the mountain with incredible views! It was recommended by the Park Service visitor center on the Blue Ridge Parkway, literally across the highway. We stopped in for lunch and found the food and service to be excellent. Best sweet potato fries I've ever tasted!! There is inside dining and if the weather had... More

we wanted to try it but they were in the process of rennovating. We did eat in the restaurant and really enjoyed the view and bird watching. The food was very good, too.

ave cost $37??? we were charged $80 for this...no heat in the room, nite time temp 32 degrees, shabby mismatched towels, only one accessible electrical outlet in the room, none in the bathroom, the worst bed I have ever slept in, advertised as a 'Million Dollar View'--from the room all we could see was the back of the restaurant and...
