The rooms are comfortable, the views are magnificient, the staff is friendly and helpful! The Friday night seafood and prime rib buffet is absolutely wonderful! I can't think of a single thing to complain about. more

My newlywed wife and I have been to the Switzerland Inn many times while dating, it is one of our favorite places on Earth! So when we got engaged, we honestly didn't seriously consider anywhere else, other than perhaps a cursory inspection of other options. We love the mountains, and knew we wanted to get married along the Blue Ridge... more

This is a lovely hotel with lovely views of the mountains! The rooms are uniquely decorated, with somewhat of a vintage feel - which I love! The shops and many on-site amenities make this a great place for a vacation... but I wouldn't want to stay here more than a couple of nights... there's virtually nothing to do in Little... more

Lovely hotel, great staff. We did a 7-day bike trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway and this was one of the most memorable stays. Relaxing on the patio with a beverage and strolling over to the restaurant. The few shops and cafe in town are all worth visiting. It's a great little hamlet. It's similiar to European villages we hav... more

This is my first review and I just wanted to say that most of the positive reviews are spot on. If you are looking to go with the wife to get away for a night or two, there's not much I can say that hasn't been said...this place is perfect. From the cafe shop, to the bar, to the hot... more

All my life, I've wanted to stay at the Switzerland Inn....and finally, I did! This quaint, old-fashioned hotel is all about the view - incredible! You see mountains upon mountains, frosted with clouds. What a treat to enjoy a class of wine and the view from your tiny balcony, or from the terrace bar! Our room was scrupulously clean, with... more

The staff made this mostly bearable. From the waiters/waitresses to the front desk and cleaning staff, the people who work here are just incredibly friendly and pleasant. It would be difficult to find a more impressively pleasant workstaff. Unfortunately, however, for $200 a night we weren't impressed with the room. Heidi, room 1 had no view, was on the lower... more

Stayed at this property for the week-end and enjoyed everything they had to offer. We staying in room 7-C in the Chanticleer Bldg. Our room was huge, 2 queen beds with queen sleeper sofa, clean up to date and the beds were wonderful. The bathroom was great, marble tile on sink and very clean. We had a great balcony where... more

Great We just stayed for 2 nights while in the NC mountains and had a great experience. It's not the Biltmore, or Chetola, but not much in the mountains is. For it's price, it's well worth it. Quaint, quite, peaceful, great people, excellent restaurant. If your looking for a lot of activites on site, you can.. Swim, get in Hot... more
