We had a family reunion lunch on Sat., Aug. 23in the Mountainview dining room at Little Switzerland Inn. I was very pleased with dealing with this facility. The people handling group events were very helpful. They were willing to serve 36 people from the menu. The food and service were quite good and the wait staff very gracious and efficient.... More

This past weekend, we returned to The Switzerland Inn, after six years, to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We had honeymooned here 46 years ago, I had been there as a young teen, and we had taken our children there in the 80's, and we had visited there for our 40th -- clearly this is a place that holds many... My friends & I have stayed in a cabin the last 2 years. It is so relaxing to sit on the porch after a day of riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was clean, has a small fridge & a gas fireplace. Even in August it can be cool in the evenings. The staff is probably one of their... More

Easy on and off the Blueridge Parkway. Pool very nice as is the outside terrace for meals and drinks. Rocking chairs overlooking the mountains well worth the stay. The meals were expensive. Lattes available in coffee & ice cream shoppe.

The inn is well situated in Little Switzerland, NC which is a pleasant well kept town that has for the most part been bypassed by commercialism, on The Blue Ridge Parkway. The inn itself has maintained its charm and "quaintness" while being a modern accommodation. The rooms are exceptional clean and some are pet friendly. It has an excellent restaurant... More

This was our second stay at the Inn. There are not many great place to stay right on the BRP but this is most definitely one. The spacious rooms are well decorated and are newly furnished beautifully. The view from your balcony are fantastic. The grounds are meticulously maintained and are simply very scenic and definitely deliver the essence of... More

This is a very nice resort right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just when you think your not going to find a spot you fall right into paradise. Yes it gets foggy early in the mornings cause your 3,200 ft above sea level. I've stayed in the main part of the Hotel several times. My favorite is the 2 story... More

Good location on the blue ridge parkway We stayed in a room in the main lodge. The balcony was so small that the chairs had to be turned sideways in order to sit outside The room could have used a little more furniture and needed a few updates The grounds were nice. The restaurant served dinner outside which was nice

Spent an impromptu foggy night at Switzerland Inn on a Sunday. We were thrilled they had an available room. Enjoyed a delicious dinner in their onsite restaurant which was both convenient and tasty. Our room was clean, and spacious. We return at least once a year to this "downscale" homey retreat to either stay for a night or two or... More

Planned a two day motorcycle weekend with a total of six riders from throughout the southeast. The weather did not cooperate but we had a great time due to the hospitality of the Switzerland Inn. Everyone we met at the Inn was friendly and made our stay enjoyable despite the weather (it rained and was foggy all weekend). Our accommodations... More
