If you're looking for fancy, modern, fast-paced, this place isn't for you. However, simple, vintage, slow-paced, this place is exactly for you. My parents spent two weeks every September for decades. Curious about the attraction, I had an opportunity to stay here. The Big Lynn Lodge is charming, clean with an awesome view. This place is like a "step back... More

On our way home from Florida we took a side trip on the Blue Ridge,( highly recommended). When we arrived in Little Swittzerland it appeared all accommodation was closed. When we stopped at Big Lynn to check if they were open a guy in the adjacent building told us they intended to open the next day for Easter weekend. He... More

Very good stay. Have been going here since the early 80's but it has been a few years since we stayed here last. Met the new owners (as of a few years ago) and they are great. Every staff member we dealt with was truly helpful,. We stayed in one of the 4 condo's at a lower level and it... More

We just arrived home from our 22nd straight year of staying at the Big Lynn Lodge. Believe me, we would not continue to go back year after year if it wasn't a WONDERFUL place! The views are spectacular, the food (breakfast and dinner comes with the price of lodging) is great, the accommodations are rustic, but include great linens, cups,... More

Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Will make this our fall get-away place from now on. The Inn Keepers were very polite and very friendly. They were always ready to help. Breakfast and Dinner was fantastic and served by friendly staff. Our room was very nice and very clean. Our view was breath taking.

Good: Nice knotty pine interior, good upholstered chair; excellent dinner and breakfast included. Comfortable king bed. Friendly restaurant staff. Bad: No cups in bathroom or ice bucket; stringy, old, thin towels, small room.

Big Lynn Lodge has a modified American plan to complement its spectacular view and most rooms have a porch/balcony to enjoy it. Dinner and breakfast are included. Tables are assigned; waitstaff is friendly and very accommodating. Apple pie was one of the best I've ever had! Breakfast has standard choices and tastily prepared. Each room has a convenient, nujmbered parking... More

We felt like we had been back to summer camp after 3 days at the Big Lynn Lodge. Very friendly staff, nice food and very convenient to have a restaurant on site as there are very few (none?) within a reasonable distance. Some of the rooms are single cabins (quiet) but others are old style motel rooms with 4 or... More
