There are 2 different campgrounds people are confusing reviews with. Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground is private & off of the Blue Ridge Pwky. Then there is Linville Falls Campground owned by the forest service directly off a spur rd on the Pwky. The first night we stayed at the forest service campground, it was awful! The sites were... This facility is run mainly by volunteers. I found the campground hosts to be warm, accommodating and knowledgable. The bathrooms were clean and water is easily accessible. There is a great local off-site family that sells stellar firewood for a fantastic price. The sites are a little close to together however, we found the campground to be very quiet in... More

One of the best places we have evercamped. We camped in a motorhome.Cleanest bathrooms/showers Of any place we have stayed. Beautiful scenery. Real close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Reasonable rates. Lots to do in the area. Great motorcycle riding. Owners Jim and Dot are outstanding. They go the extra mile to help out when needed.

While this park is not for big rigs, it worked well for our class B rigs and our group's two trailers. We lived that in the height of summer, it was so cool and comfortable here. Plus it is very close to Linville Falls Visitor Center and hikes there.

Stayed two nights at the Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground on a trip with my boys (plus a few friends and another dad, 6 people total). We called in and reserved a primitive tent site, Site 44. We picked this Camp Ground due to the proximity to Lineville Falls area and other local sites, and it was perfectly located... More

Driving through the much developed town of linville falls you could never imagined such a beautiful campsite! This place is great for tent camping, the ride up to site #36 was a little hairy for a duel wheel diseal but we made it. Sites are spacious and not too close together. The bath house is close yet well tucked away.... More

If you want to be close the the Gorge but want a little more civilized experience (ie - you have family) this is a great choice. We tent camped. It's a small campground overall but most sites feel private. Bath house is clean. Fire pit and charcoal grill at each site and a playground area for the kids. We had... More

We returned home today after spending the weekend camping. This was the first time we have stayed here but it definitely won't be the last. What a nice place! Very nice sites and by far, the cleanest bathhouse we have ever been in. (Thumbs up to the granddaughter of the owners, keep up the good work.). The campground is small... More
