We just rented the Manor House at Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages for a girl's mountain weekend. I've planned similar events in previous years and we always ended up with a group of rooms at a hotel or lodge since most houses require a weeklong reservation. Not so at Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages. We were able to rent the... More

Last minute reservation made and they were so nice and helpful. What beautiful grounds the lodge is on. The greenery and flowers sweeten the air. We stayed in number 5. Beds slept amazing and the cool night air drifting through the room kept it comfortable. Bathrooms were beautiful and all the room had a personal touch. Continental breakfast was great... More

Most accommadating innkeeper Wendy...went out of her way to make our umexpected stop an enjoyable one. Had to drive 5-7 miles for evening meal due to Louise's Rock House Restaurant being closed on Tuesdays but they served a fantastic breakfast the next morning. Will definitely plan on staying again on our next trip in the fall...

One of the decisions for booking 6 months in advance was the on site restaurant, upon arrival it was closed for the year (middle of July). Should have been notified in advance of this so I could have looked elsewhere. Then had to endure grass cutting, weed eating and blower outside our deck at 6:30 pm while trying to relax.... More

We stayed 1 night on our trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway.. The Lodge is just off the BRP, so the location is convenient. The on-site restaurant was closed but across the street was Louise's for some nice ribs. The rooms in de lodge are small but comfortable with a small deck outside. The lodge self is a bit older,... We stayed 2 nights at the lodge. It was comfortable, quaint and affordable. Loved the grounds, the outdoor sitting areas, the breakfast room and the bed. WiFi was available and worked well. Ate dinner one night at Louise's which is walking distance. The food there was good but there was no alcohol served and it is not open on Tuesday.... More

About a year ago I was biking the Blue Ridge Parkway with a friend and at the end of the day there was a surprise climb that I had to ride up fast enough to beat the sunset (note to self: when Larry says I wont need a light, I'll need a light) so by the time I rolled into... More

Very pleasantly surprised by this facility. I called on the Thursday before Memorial weekend expecting to hear they were booked. They had a 2 queen bed lodge room available so I booked it. We're only a couple of hours away so we stopped by the caverns and did some other sight seeing before checking in. The rooms are small but... More

Great place to stay. Beds are so comfortable I hated to go back to my own and the rooms were super clean. They have a nice small room located at the motel w/complimentary quick breakfast snacks to get your day started too. Great staff and grounds. The fire pit is exceptional and a great place to gather at the end... More

I visit the Linville area often, as it is a beautiful are with many adventurous opportunities such as the Gourge and Linville Caverns. I love that the Lodge and Cottages are local and not far from the areas I like to tour. Apart from location, the cottages are charming and the staff are all warm and courteous. I also enjoy... More
