Wonderful...quiet and peaceful. We stayed at the lodge so we could play at the Linville Golf Course, which was equally outstanding. The food at the Lodge was exceptional and we appreciated the fact that you had to dress appropriately to eat there. So many good places today are lowering their dress standard and just bringing themselves down. Fortunately Eseeola Lodge... More

Recently traveled up to Linville to play golf at nearby Grandfather Golf Course. Was looking for an upscale place to stay and Eseeola was a great fit. Having visited in late May, the hotel grounds were in great shape. Beautiful flowers and scenery around the lodge. We took a trip on down to Blowing Rock for lunch when we arrived.... More

As Charlie's Krualt stated there is no better place to be in America than Grandfather Mountain and Linville in May. The housekeepers keep the lovely decorated resort spotless. The entire property is adorned with beautiful flowers. Staff are attentive and unobtrusive. The included breakfast was perfect. The resort has beautiful amenities and is very convenient for enjoying the Blue Ridge... More

Whow, this was really a nice place that had taken lots of effort to upgrade and keep in immaculate shape. The staff was outstanding and was happy to satisfy all request with a smile. My visit was so good that I am booking for next years golf event. The place is so relaxing and filled with beautiful antiques and the... More

I was fortunate to have my wife book a long weekend for us at the Esseola Lodge last year and I can report that is indeed a special place. It's rustic luxury in a beautiful mountain village setting. Superb service, cuisine and access to the Linville Golf Club and the fabulous Esseola Spa. Treat yourself to a wonderful vacation with... More

This getaway weekend was a gift from my daughters and we had a wonderful time. The lodge and grounds are gorgeous, food is terrific and the service is amazing. It is pricey but worth it. Nearby are the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, LInville Gorge and several darling little towns. I hope to return to the Esseola Lodge again and... More

Eseeola is a long-established resort in Linville. They have made updates over the years to keep up with technology in the rooms while continuing to maintain the charm of the resort. The Food is excellent and the basic room, though not large, is most adequate and offered a nice porch/balcony. It is a great place to relax while taking in... More

we came for our 20th Anniversary and have thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Lovely gardens, nice breakfast included in our rate. We had Suite 212 with a nice view over the creek, a great patio, and the adjacent golf course is wonderful as well. We didn't have other meals here as jacket is REQUIRED and I had forgotten mine. They had... More

This was our first time experiencing Eseeola. We were impressed and wow'd with the resort, from beginning to end. Eseeola is a quiet place with high standards of excellence in every facet of the resort. The rooms are country casual with ample space and access to a small outside sitting area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine at... More

We attended a wedding event that included a golf-outing, 2.8 mile hike, sit-down rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, spectacular wedding service and reception at the beautiful Eseeola Lodge in Linville, NC. The servers, wait-staff and attendees were all very attentive to our needs and requests. The food, drinks and accommodations were out of another era - quiet, relaxed, elegant and high-end.... More
