We stayed at the Jameson Inn in Lenoir September of 2007. It was nice and basic looking on the outside- I don't mind the outdoor hallways too much. The area was nice and quiet. Room was very clean and staff was friendly, but there's too much missing here to warrant a repeat stay. We had a family of four in one room - there's only two small towels (the size of most people's hand towels) and two washclothes - soap bar is also very small. A basic chain motel, staff helpful and friendly - but no frills i.e. no in-room accessories such as ironing board, coffee maker, etc. Although supposedly Wi-Fi enabled this did not extend to our room. more

Nice looking motel with very clean room. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The in-room microwave and refrig were great touches. The room also included a coffee-maker. All of the facilities were in like-new condition. There is a small outdoor pool that looked fine, although I did not check it out closely. A simple breakfast is included in the rate.... more
