My family came up for the 4th of July this year. Great band! Great fireworks show! Stayed in the upstairs 2 bedroom apt. Very clean! Had kitchenette and a huge great room ! Now.....the food. This is where this place shines. Excellent burgers , wings and chicken sandwiches! The bar staff makes you feel like a local and the hot... More

Very friendly staff. Very accommodating. Old motel that is kept clean. Good food. A great stop. Excellent riding close by. Don't miss the deserts. 200 characters is more than I want to type. This is a decent place to stay and is reasonable

If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, this is the place to stop for a great meal or an evening of swapping stories outside rooms reminiscent of the 1950's. The knotty pine rooms are clean and comfortable, though the mattresses could use an upgrade. You can park your motorcycle right at your door under cover and find like-minded riders who love... More

We stopped without a reservation, unfortunately, they were booked. We stayed close by at Woody's but went there for dinner. GREAT wings, and the salsa was excellent. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Went for coffee the next morning and was made to feel like regular, staff went out of their way to help with locating allergy meds for my BF... More

The Freeborne Motel is in the motorcycle capital of the world, OK, maybe of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's Milepost 248. In the complex, there's a second motel, two antique shops (worth a visit) and a country store. Freeborne's restaurant is quite good and I loved the atmosphere.

We've stayed at Freeborne's Eatery & Lodge on our way to the Smokies... The room was comfortable and clean . It was raining when we got there and we even had a spot to park the bikes under the porch in front of our room . The food was also very good and the price was fair . Loved the... More

We've stayed here five or six times and each one has been spectacular. We've had an individual room a few times and a cottage a couple times. All our rooms have been VERY clean and comfortable. The staff is ultra friendly. The food is WAY better than any other lodge we've visited along the parkway, and the prices are super... More
