Our family, three generations had a great time for a week in June. Weather was perfect, food was very good and the accomodations very nice - our rooms overlooked the lake. There was plenty to do for all ages. We ended up in the bar for a nightcap on several occasions; our bartender, Caleb, was super friendly and very efficient.

We have been going to The Greystone Inn for about ten years but were apprehensive this year because the property has changed hands. Since the champagne cruise and dinner are not included in the price of the stay we were afraid the overall price would be noticeably more. We chose to go on the cruise three of the four nights... Thank you, Jennifer, Courtney and Hannah for your gracious, warm and welcoming personalities. Y'all are the "face" of Greystone and we commend you for your assistance and attentiveness. Debi was a wealth of knowledge and information regarding things to do-we took her advice and loved Gorges State Park, whitewater falls and Cashiers. Thank you all!

Our family decided to head to the mountains instead of the beach this year for our family vacation and I'm so glad we did! We are a party of 8, ages 5 to 75 and we all really enjoyed ourselves! My husband and I stayed in the Richardson room and were very pleased with the accommodations. We fished, rented a... More

The lake environment is gorgeous, the golf course is stunning, however the "inn" falls a bit short. One can easily rate it a 3 or 4 depending on what you run into during your stay. Given that Natural Retreats has just recently taken over the Inn, most of the rental homes etc - hopefully a more positive transition will unfold... More

We had a spectacular room with a nice view of Lake Toxaway from our screened porch. It was so quiet we thought we were the only ones staying at the inn... but the parking lot was full! Our sleep was very sound... This is wonderful, romantic inn... a good place to get away from it all and revive yourself ...and... More

We were looking for lake side resort in the old style and a drivable distance from Charleston, SC. Greystone Inn seemed perfect. I read a few reviews on trip advisor and I was a bit hesitant, but we decided to try it anyhow - and glad we did! The Inn is just perfect! Old world charm, with a few nice modern... More

We stayed in the Moltz Room; very comfortable with a lovely view of the lake, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast next to the lake; worth waiting on an outside table if the weather allows. Very nice welcome basket with goodies we saved for our hike the next day. One of the best massages my... I wanted somewhere special for my 19 year old son and I to take our first mother-son vacation. I wanted outdoor opportunities and luxury accommodations. We searched a few options but were sold by the enthusiasm of the staff the first time we spoke with them and the convenience of the location, less than 3 hours by car. We have... More

We stayed at the Greystone for four nights last week. We had stayed at this property eight years ago and loved the hotel, grounds and staff so decided to return. What a disappointment. Our room The Richardson was a large nice room with a deck overlooking the lake. It has a fireplace which we did not use as it is... More
