The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The service was great. The room was comfortable, clean and quite. The location was tremendous. We walked to the beach. They loaned us chairs, towels and a cooler. They recommended some great restaurants. We will definitely be back.

The Cypress House Inn was quaint and clean. The simple beach decor is updated and nicely done. Bill and Veda are genuine, kind, and accommodating in every way possible. It is a relaxing, comfortable environment. I would visit this area again in a minute and we intend to do so again next year! Thank you again. The Mays

We had a fabulous weekend stay at Cypress House! The room and common areas were very clean, comfortable, and tastefully appointed. Bill and Veda are so hospitable and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. The food was excellent and they could accommodate all types of diet restrictions. The location makes for an short walk to the beach... More

We spent the week of our 41st Anniversary with Bill and Veda at the Cypress House Inn, a small, but extremely comfortable Bed and Breakfast in Kill Devil Hills. Located just steps from a wonderful public beach access, this B&B is about the best we have ever experienced, and we have been in B&B locations both here in the US... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this charming Inn and had a great experience. The guest rooms and common areas are beautifully appointed, comfortable, welcoming and very clean! The rooms are equipped with anything one would need. The Innkeepers, Veda & Bill are very helpful. Breakfasts were nicely presented in the dining room at a table shared with other... More

My husband booked three nights recently at the Cypress House Inn for our anniversary. Neither of us at been to the outer banks after living in the mountains for 20 years, so we really wanted to experience what we had heard and read about. This time of year it is cold in the mountains but it was also cold at... More

We recently stayed for 3 nights a Cypress, and overall had a very enjoyable time. This was our first B&B experience, so we weren't really sure what to expect. We thought that the location was perfect - close enough to the main KDH main streets, and across the street from the beach. The surroundings were quiet, and the house itself... More

I loved this house - an old hunting and fishing lodge. Right across the street from the ocean. Had friendly hosts, good food and charming ambiance. Very close to ocean, but can't see it from the house. Only other negative was that the beach itself is not that nice in this area. The ocean is always beautiful, but the sand... More

We've made four trips to Kill Devil Hills over the past 10 years and always stay here because the location is great, the rooms are big and comfortable, the porch and the living room are great places to chill or sit and talk, and the breakfast is always wonderful. We were there 4 days and cleaned our plates every morning.... More

Agree with other reviews on location, hosts, and food. House is lovely, and Bill and Veda are friendly and warm. However, we booked the Roanoke Room which was VERY small and had the most uncomfortable bed I've EVER paid to sleep on. Seriously. The shower was also very small making it difficult to wash your hair without bumping your elbows.... More

We are saddened to hear that our guests from Southern California were disappointed during their stay. We were fully booked for that weekend so we did not have an opportunity to move them to another room. When they booked online in July, there were two larger rooms available at that time that were not chosen. Room 3 The Roanoke is... More
