George, the owner has remodeled this historic house into a charming, atmospheric place with attention to detail - each room has its own personality and much rustic art throughout. It's a quick walk to the beach and good restaurants. Also, it's the most reasonably-priced place in the area. Really a good find. more

I completely concur with all the glowing reviews about this place. I don't usually post comments online but I felt compelled to let everyone know how great this place is. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days. We wanted a relaxing beach getaway and that's what this place offers. The owner, George, is friendly and accomodating but... more

George provided excellent hospitality and could not have been more accommodating. The inn is charming, quaint, and immaculate in both cleanliness and maintenance, not to mention it's excellent location. We were very comfortable here, and slept like babies. We chose to stay in the Back Porch room, and It was an ideal setup for us. The Back Porch had modern... more

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's so incredibly charming. The rooms are beautiful and there are all kinds of cute little touches throughout the house. the location is perfect - just a block from the beach and right by a great breakfast place. The proprietor is very friendly and gives you lots of privacy, which I... more

My wife and I went to stay at the Atlantic Street Inn in Kill Devil Hills (KDH) over Labor Day week to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary. This was the first time my wife and I have ever been to the Outer Banks and we were curious about what we’d find. We found The Atlantic Street Inn on the internet... more

We decided on the Atlantic Street Inn because of the reviews from Trip Advisor and then the price! We stayed a whole week and it was fabulous. The kitchen was great to have so we didn't have to eat out all the time. There is even a grill in the back. While the Inn is not located on the beach,... more

We booked late, so we stayed 3 nights in the Back Porch, and 3 in the Sowester. George (the owner) was great working this out for us. He greeted us at the door, was super friendly, and had recommendations for local dining. The inn is about a block and a half from the beach, which I guess is why it... more

I needed a place to stay for the weekend on the Outer Banks in NC and found that all vacation home rentals had either 3 or 7 night minimum stays. One of the vacation rental agencies recommended calling the Atlantic Street Inn, in Kill Devil Hills, so I did. The owner was very friendly and told me about the web... more
