Our family stayed here for 5 days. The location is perfect. The rooms are a good size but have a feeling of dampness and a slight odor. The pool is nice but there is a 6ft tall wooden fence around it so you can't see the beach or ocean. They offer a nice breafast with waffles and other such items.... more

We were leary after reading some of the (out)dated reviews about this location. We found the room clean and comfy. Location was perfect for us - right on the beach. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Will stay again! more

My husband and I stayed at The Carolina Oceanfront (usded to be Comfort Inn North) during the Taste of The Beach and had a great time. They have done some renovations and the rooms are looking really good. And the rates were wonderful. We will stay there again when we go back for our summer vacation for sure. more

The minute we walked in the room we noticed a moldy odor and tried to eliminate it by keeping the door open to get some fresh air in the room but it didn't help - after complaining to the staff they must have sprayed some kind of chemical on the carpets but that only made it worse. Almost excellent. The front desk staff was cordial and competent. We had a difficulty unrelated to the establishment and staff on duty went out of their way to make sure our difficulty was resolved in an expeditious manner. We had a good experience with a random housekeeping staff member concerning some service to our room late in the work shift.... more

We had a great time. The hotel room was very simple but clean. Complete with hairdryer, campus refrigerator, and WiFi. The service from check-in to room cleaning was great.
