Where do I start? The staff was nice, apathetic, but nice. The floor in our room was damp. I'm not talking the we just got our carpets cleaned and it hasn't dried quite yet, but the sticky nasty damp. Our bathroom came with a half empty bottle of lotion and an empty bottle of shampoo. We were very disapointed in the quality of the room and hotel in general. We arrived late and when we entered the room it smelled so moldy/musty that it made you gag. All chain hotels in Jacksonville are GROSSLY overpriced. I chose this motel, because it was the least expensive of all the chains. Still priced above what it should be, it was a nice motel, clean, and with a good staff. Only drawback is lack of elevator, should your room be on the second floor. more
