Great small town located on French Broad River and Appalachian Trail. The Inn is very nice and has a rustic feel. Free Wifi in rooms. No TVs which was nice. Restaurant is amazing. You can then go right down the street to the hot springs for a soak.

Stayed the weekend with other couples and really enjoyed this place. The room were nice (we had standard room) with bed, chair and bathroom. Just enough room to spread out. They have a community area over the restaurant with a big screen TV, free coffee and sitting area. Great location to hang out. Parking was convenient, but it was wintertime,... More

We stayed in a Pullman room which was well decorated and very clean. The bed on a scale of 1 to 5 was a 3, but the pillows were good and the water in shower plentiful and hot. You should be aware that the walls are pretty thin and we could hear almost everything that went on in the room... More

The rooms which are decorated like pullman train cars are located above the tavern/restaurant and are very comfortable and accommodating. I have stayed here before, once in the deluxe whirlpool room and once in a standard pullman. While this is not a 5 star hotel, the charm and comfort makes it a great place for a 1 or 2 night... I came across this hotel several years ago by happenstance while detouring through the mountains to Pigeon Forge, TN. I finally got the chance to spend some time there this past weekend. Much like other reviews, it initially has a bed and breakfast feel to it. It's a historic property with a restaurant downstairs and the guest rooms are upstairs... More

My fiancee and I stayed at this property for a wedding held at the Hot Springs Resort and Spa. We'd never been to Hot Springs before and probably would have never found this quaint little village if it hadn't been for the wedding we were there to attend. The check-in process was seamless, the lady at the desk knew my... More

This place has an interesting dynamic. The check in process has the feel of a bed and breakfast (or what i imagine an old fashioned inn to be like), it has a full restaraunt which serves lunch and dinner, then the common area above the restaraunt and the rooms are beyond that. Everything here was beautifully appointed, the decor and... More

I really liked this place but was admittedly apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. It really depends on what you are looking for. This hotel was built in the late 1800s and has been restored, protecting its historical and architectural integrity but meeting 2014 hotel needs. Thus, if you are looking for a new hotel with all the... More

This is not a Marriott with big screen TVs and desks in each room. If you want the TV it's in the lobby or in the restaurant / bar downstairs. Then again if you are going to Hot Springs NC you are probably going to relax and to get away from modern technology. (Your cell phone might receive phone calls... More

This place has a really cool to the pub look. The inn is on the second floor above the pub. I love the old school decor. The walls are really thin. The room is really small. But the price was right for the room. It was clean and just what we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
