I came across this hotel several years ago by happenstance while detouring through the mountains to Pigeon Forge, TN. I finally got the chance to spend some time there this past weekend. Much like other reviews, it initially has a bed and breakfast feel to it. It's a historic property with a restaurant downstairs and the guest rooms are upstairs... More

My fiancee and I stayed at this property for a wedding held at the Hot Springs Resort and Spa. We'd never been to Hot Springs before and probably would have never found this quaint little village if it hadn't been for the wedding we were there to attend. The check-in process was seamless, the lady at the desk knew my... More

This place has an interesting dynamic. The check in process has the feel of a bed and breakfast (or what i imagine an old fashioned inn to be like), it has a full restaraunt which serves lunch and dinner, then the common area above the restaraunt and the rooms are beyond that. Everything here was beautifully appointed, the decor and... More

I really liked this place but was admittedly apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews. It really depends on what you are looking for. This hotel was built in the late 1800s and has been restored, protecting its historical and architectural integrity but meeting 2014 hotel needs. Thus, if you are looking for a new hotel with all the... More

This is not a Marriott with big screen TVs and desks in each room. If you want the TV it's in the lobby or in the restaurant / bar downstairs. Then again if you are going to Hot Springs NC you are probably going to relax and to get away from modern technology. (Your cell phone might receive phone calls... More

This place has a really cool to the pub look. The inn is on the second floor above the pub. I love the old school decor. The walls are really thin. The room is really small. But the price was right for the room. It was clean and just what we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a great hotel! Everyone in Hot Springs is especially friendly so service was brilliant. We went on a trek through the forest and managed to get ourselves very lost, so we missed our soak and dinner reservation. The hotel and restaurant helped us out by arranging for us to have our dinner order late in the restaurant. Overall... More

We love old hotels in charming towns, and this qualifies. Yes, it's very close to the train tracks, which wa s not a problem for us (room 204). Comfortable queen bed. Ceiling fan was great for the weather. My main issue was that the room and bathroom could have been more pleasant with just a little more attention. For instance:... More

This was a charming little hotel that we stayed in for one Saturday night in July. We were in room 206. The room was clean and spacious for this hotel. My only complain about the room was in the bathroom. It was obvious that the bathroom was cleaned, but the shower was really in bad need of having the grout... More

My family and I hiked into Hot Springs on Monday June 30, 2014 and were excited to have made reservations, several weeks in advance; to stay right over the tavern. Our first stop in town was at the Spring Creek Tavern where we enjoyed our meals and drinks like you only can after several days on the trail! After eating... More
