This inn set the bar by which I now measure all other B & B's. Simply excellent. There are no other words. I have longed to return since we visited.

We had one night without guests at our own B&B in Asheville to celebrate our 32nd anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere where no one knew us! We remembered having a delicious dinner with friends a couple of years ago on the porch of the Mountain Magnolia Inn and we gave them a call. It was the perfect getaway...

We came for our 20th anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better time. We signed up for the "Chef's Table" and got a dining experience like no other. Chef Chris Brown showed off his skills and blew us away with a 6 course meal that was like no other we've ever had. If you enjoy great hospitality and exceptional...

We stayed at Fowler's Bend which is a lovely renovated house perched on a hillside overlooking a creek and waterfall (away from the main house). The accommodations are spacious and a good deal for the price (multiple couples can stay) and still include the delicious daily breakfast buffet. A nice option to consider if you have a larger group and...

What a wonderful experience. My husband booked the relaxation package for our 13th anniversary. We choose the cliffside room, and what a pleasant surprise. The pictures and description online just don't do the suite justice. The suite is the size of a vacation condo. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, and much to our surprise we had a homemade raspberry cream...

Thanks for your nice review. We are glad you had a great anniversary and appreciate your selecting the Mountain Magnolia Inn as the place to celebtate. We had a book release party at the Inn the night of your anniversary dinner and made great efforts to make sure individual diners like you got the service you expect and deserve.

We read about Mountain Magnolia Inn (and Hot Springs) in Southern Living magazine. It sounded like the perfect place to spend our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We had the Chef's Table Dinner on Sunday night (less people at the Inn). We had a room to ourself with a wood fire in the fireplace. The 6 course...

Recommended by a co-worker of mine, my husband and I decided to stay at the Mountain Magnolia in Hot Springs, NC for our 20th Wedding anniversary! It was even better than I ever expected. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon after everyone else had left for the weekend, the Innkeeper, Pete, was gracious to allow us to choose a room from...

We returned to the Mountain Magnolia the first week end in November and again had a great experience. We stayed once again in the Cliff Side which we really enjoy because of the kistchen and the space. The leaves were still somewhat pretty but we knew we would be at the end of the leaf time, just couldn't work out...

Staying at the Magnolia Mountain Inn was a real treat. The owners have done a remarkable job rebuilding/restoring this historic gem. We stayed in the magnolia room which was nice, but it's on the ground level (judging by the newspaper article it used to be the servant's quarters.) It is right next to the inn's public restrooms so it was...

The title says it all -- we had a great time at the Inn and they were very accommodating. However, make sure you book one of the back rooms if you're a light sleeper -- the train passes by at 2am-ish

Most people find the train to be nostalgic but if you are a light sleeper this is good advice so ask the innkeeper which room best meets your needs.
The railroad has a wondeful history in the area. It came through in 1882 when the Paint Creek Line connected Tennessee to the rails in Western North Carolina. This ushered in...
