While I absolutely love Highlands and have stayed at several spots there, this was my first (and likely last) stay at 200 Main. The "heated mineral pool" sign out front is a bit mis-leading in that it is a "seasonal" only pool. Not sure when they open it, but was not open during our recent stay and the amenities of... More

Thank you for staying with us at 200 Main and reviewing on TripAdvisor. We designed 200 Main provide a rustic-chic lodging option in Highlands with just enough amenities to still provide an economical rate. It is part of a new breed of limited-service hotels designed to be fresh, stylish and comfortable without adding the level of staffing and amenities that... More

We had an opportunity to return to Highlands, NC and chose to stay at this property again. Actually this is the third time we have stayed at this property since it was taken over by Old Edwards, the last time was about 6 months ago. This hotel is consistent in hospitality. The rooms are always clean, fresh, and comfortable. We... More

I love going to hotels that follow through on the little details. We had the standard king room on the lower level. It was like being in the nice guest room of a friends home. Its was on the smaller side but adequate for the two of us with a large closet. So if you're looking for more space you... More

Excellent room - loved the fireplace and modern bathroom and bed was very comfortable. The balcony was also a plus. Great location 2 blocks west of downtown. We had issues with our heater - our options were high or nothing. We told them at checkout, so likely fixed.

This hotel was very nice! From my entrance at reception I was greeted promptly, they even switched us to a ground level room even though an upper level was booked. There heated tile in the bathroom and a heater, nice and cozy for a shower! There was a balcony with two rocking chairs looking out onto Main street. You can... More

The rooms were clean, modern and cozy. Our room had a fireplace and a balcony. The bathrooms are very up to date with a big walk in shower. I had thought about staying at the Old Edwards Inn but decided to stay here since we needed two rooms and I wanted to save some $$. It was perfect! Restaurants, the... More

My husband and I stayed for a weekend and were happy with the room which was a standard room with king which was comfy. The bathroom was a bit of a disappointment and was the standard of any Holiday Inn minus the updated sink outside of the bathroom. We should have said something though when we saw an adjoining door... More

We sincerely apologize for the noise issue you experienced. Upon investigation, we realized that the room you occupied had been adjoined to the next room by request of the previous guests. When the doors were re-locked, we failed to put the noise barrier between them. We are happy that you found your bed comfortable and the grounds enjoyable. And, again,... More

We can to Highlands for our anniversary. We spent 2 nights here, and it is an incredible value. About $150 per night plus fees. Our king room was very large, with a remote controlled gas fireplace, three nozzle shower, and heated bath floors. There is a nice fire-pit, pool (though we didn't use) and a lawn area with a cot... My husband and I stayed here for three nights, and being a very seasoned traveler I can say that this is one of the best hotels I've visited. With a fireplace in the bedroom, beautifully upgraded bathroom and balcony complete with rocking chairs facing a wonderful view of the Highlands, we were absolutely spoiled! The staff is welcoming and attentive,... More

Spotless room with lots of special touches. Upon check in we were greeted by Kathryn, who was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend the 200 Main to all who enjoy the finer things in life, you will not be disappointed !
