We always love our trip to the mountains but we were not too impressed with the Inn. Nothing really wrong with it - it just didn't have a special charm. Some employees are great while others do need to have some more training. We will try another place next time. more

I attended my sons wedding here. The owner is friendly and helpful and the breakfasts and snacks in the afternoon are great. I stayed in room 14 and it was large, clean and modern, although in a rustic way. I recommend this property highly. more

My wife and I stayed in room 14 over the Labor Day weekend. The room was very nice. It had a queen bed, two chairs, gas log fireplace and a private porch with a wooded view. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower. They put out cookies everyday ( four different flavors). Each evening they had wine... more

Just returned from a two night stay at the Inn at Half Mile Farm. The Inn exceeded my expectations. The setting is amazing - very picturesque and private. The room that I stayed in was located in the courtyard building. The rooms in this building are very luxurious and modern - comparable to a four star hotel with wonderful sheets... more

My husband and I just returned from a 1 night stay at the Inn at Half Mile Farm. This was the first time we had stayed in a Bed and Breakfast and it was WONDERFUL. It was our anniversary weekend and we had the place to ourselves. The grounds were very well kept and it was very picturesque. We skipped... more

My wife and I returned home just today from a one night get away to Half Mile Farm. This was our first trip there, but certainly will not be our last. We stayed in one of the cabins (specifically, Lamons Cabin) and were truly impressed with everything about it. For the couples reading this, consider the cabins comfortable, cozy, and... more

We just returned from an Anniversary weekend trip to the Inn. We did not want to have to write this review but really have no choice due to the poor service that we experienced. Let me just state that you should not have to "deal" with anything when you are spending $300 a nt for a luxury Inn...with that said...let... more

The Inn at Half Mile Farm is where you can go to remember what clean air smells like and to meet people without pretention or agendas. The staff at The Inn were kind, knowledgeable about the area, and very welcoming. Our room was the High Falls room and the pictures do not do the room or the Inn justice. The... more

We decided to go north against traffic for this Memorial Day weekend top spend some time in lovely North Carolina. We ventured into Highlands, North Carolina, which is about two hours from Atlanta. I'd like to give a little review of the Inn at Half Mile Farm. We've been here all weekend - if you are ever in this area,... more
