This was my 5th trip to Fire Mountain Inn and I love it more every time that I go there. The staff and owners are acutely aware of every detail to make your stay a very special one. They are there to assist with hiking information, shopping information, food & restaurant, etc. As much or as little as you want. Housekeeping... more

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at Fire Mountain. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the peaceful setting, the comfortable cabin, and the wonderful breakfast on Sunday!!! We found the staff to be more than accomadating!!! We will be returning Halloween weekend with our children and we are confident that we will have another wonderful experience. more

Fire Mountain is a terrific place to stay for those looking for relaxation and privacy. As a set of two couples, we recently stayed 3 nights in the Hemlock cabin (Sept 2008) and had a great experience. We traveled into Highlands a few times, went hiking at Glen Falls (a must see) and relaxed in the hot tub on the... more

This is a great place to escape from the stresses and strains of the world. The amenities are very comfortable, the people, especially Mathew are very gracious and hospitable. They truly want your stay to be memorable. If you are looking for a great way to spend an awesome relaxing weekend or even a week this is the place. Great... more

This was a last minute get-a-way! I found Fire Mountain's website by chance, called for the reservation, and arrived 4 hours later to discover one of the best get-a-ways! This was peace! The facility was awsome...just what I needed...Thank you to this wonderful mountain...but also to the keepers of "her". Dusty more

My husband and I stayed at the Fire Mountain Inn just before Labor Day this year and the experience was unlike any we had ever had. Every staff member we encountered was very helpful, yet they didn't intrude on the privacy that guests here look for. The accomodations were outstanding, as was the breakfast. Even though the fringes of Hurricane... more

We had a wonderful time at this B&B. We loved our room (the Nantahala) and the breakfast. The staff was great and sent us on some wonderful hikes with great maps. The views up there were beautiful and we had so much fun exploring the grounds...and, best of all, it was so peaceful and quiet that we slept like babies.... more

We just wrapped up a 5 night/6 day stay at Fire Mountain. We have to admit, the descriptions on the website, are creatively written, compelling, seem exactly to be the kind of place that everyone looks for on a vacation. In our opinion the descriptions on the website, did not completely match the cabin or the grounds. Again, this is... more

We just returned from a wonderful extended weekend stay at Fire Mountain in celebration of our 25th anniversary. We stayed in the Callusaju cabin and couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of our stay. Although it was early August it was cool enough at night to burn a fire in the fireplace. Our cabin was clean and the... more

Fire Mountain is relaxation at its finest. No phones, no TV, just total relaxation which all guests adhere to. At Fire Mountain nature photography is at its best, area resturants are within an easy drive along with the shops of the Highlands. As I drive up the mountain to the cottages my cares and the outside world seem to just... more
