We are back in highlands once again and the highlands lodge is once again awesome! They are currently renovating and what they have done do far is fantastic ! We travel with our dog so they are pet friendly as well! They have replaced the carpets with hardwood so that is nice when traveling with a pet! New furniture and... More

I happened to be in Highlands in need of a hotel and stumbled on the Lodge. It is practically downtown and so convenient! I checked in late at night and they made me feel very welcome. My room was spacious, clean, quiet and I loved having outdoor access to my car from the first floor. I slept very well! In... More

We recently visited highlands for the annual Christmas parade! We had reservations at another hotel but they called and cancelled on us! We found the highlands inn lodge and they were very nice from the beginning! We were able to bring our little girl and her puppy up for the parade ! This hotel is pet friendly, clean and offers... This hotel is in a great location in the Highlands, located just at the edge of town it is QUIET! Walking distance to main street, but if you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking. We had a suite with two rooms. Bed was comfy and room was clean for the most part. The tub was old and stained... More

We had a lovely room with a balcony and a gas fireplace. The hotel had been a Hampton Inn and is now privately owned by folks who also run a historic inn downtown. Everything was as advertised. Breakfast was fine and warm cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch.

The good: The staff was incredibly helpful. They allowed us to upgrade from a single room to a suite for one-half of the price thereby saving us $100.00 over 3 nights. The bed was extremely comfortable--one of the most comfortable that I've had in any hotel. The jacuzzi bathtub/shower was a nice touch. Also, the nightly baked cookies were a... More

So I stayed here a few times 6-8 years ago when this place was the hampton inn. I booked again thinking, "how much could this place have changed?" Ha. Answer: A Lot. We were placed in room #1. The toilet ran off an on all night. The bathroom is dying for a renovation as is the whole place. The 4... More

We spent a great two nights here. Rooms were clean and up to par, staff was helpful and overall facilities were what we expected. Price was right and the chocolate chip cookies were wonderful. Walked to the restaurant up on the hill and had a nice meal. No complaints here.

This place was just what we needed. Up on the hill. Renovations of the lobby look great. Landscape is beautiful and rooms with a refridge. Our parents stayed in a suite. This Lodge was clean and well maintained. We will return. Great place to stay.

The staff here was actually really great- very nice and accommodating. It was very easy to book a room here. It's family-friendly - there were many families with kids staying there. There was fresh fruit every day and cookies in the evenings. Beds were comfortable. Other than that, I can't really recommend the hotel comfort-wise. The room was really stuffy,... More
