My wife and I stayed here on our first visit to Highlands. We came last minute and were a bit hesitant to stay here because of some of the negative reviews. The Lodge, however, proved to be a good place to call home for a couple of nights. While off of the main street, it is in easy walking distance... More

We stayed here for three days. They offer pet rooms and actually have a few acres with grass that you can run your pup and play. Downstairs down and out rooms make this hotel so convenient. Breakfast was good. Not understanding the bad breakfast reviews on here. What hotel gives you full breakfast with such moderate rates? People are just... More

I stayed again at the Highlands Inn Lodge this last weekend. It is a well kept and very quiet place just off main street . Nice outdoor sitting area and lean hot tub. The suite has a California King bed which is very comfortable and a giant tub/shower and a fireplace. A small kitchen is included as well. I recommend... More

If you are planning a work retreat, a family vacation, or simply just a last minute getaway, be certain to make reservations to stay at Highlands Inn Lodge in Highlands, NC! The staff is awesome and very accommodating! The rooms were wonderful: fireplace, jacuzzi, balcony view... In short, "An absolute great stay"!

As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many hotels, including nearly every one in Highlands. I have never stayed anywhere so accommodating! I walked into the lobby at 11am on Memorial Day weekend, no reservation, and they immediately put me in a room! (check-in is 4pm) From the moment I walked in the door I felt like family, and... My parents stayed here in late April in a fireplace suite room. Since the mornings are chilly in the mountains the fireplace was a welcome touch. We did sit in the "living room" area and enjoy coffee and talked while waiting for my mom to get dressed. Then we went up to the lobby for breakfast. They had a variety... More

Our IT Transition Planning Team spent a great weekend at Highlands Inn Lodge. The suites are beautifull appointed with hardwood floors, mini-kitchens, fireplaces, cable TV, jetted garden tubs, and patios. The meeting room was large and comfortable and had a hookup to a large-screen TV so we didn't have to use an LCD projector and screen. We also had excellent... More

Stayed here while attending a Blues Festival in Cashiers. Very comfortable, typical room, with usual amenities. Breakfast is included in the room rate and was very substantial. Not a waffle fan but several people were. We liked the location, just a minute or two from downtown. One could actually walk, altho crossing the main road would be hazardous. There is... More

When making this reservation I was surprised that not only did they take my credit card but they ran it before hanging up the phone. Day of reservation I was pretty surprised to get a phone call at 5:55 telling me hotel office closed at 6. My room key was in an envelope taped to the front door of the... More
