My husband and I just returned from a short trip to Highlands, NC. He found The Park on Main online, and after reading reviews, we decided to stay there. What a beautiful place- 24-suites, with private balconies, and all over-looking a lovely courtyard! The suite was very comfortable, very clean, with plenty of room! I always take my own pillow... A delightful 24-room hotel -- mostly with two-room suites -- on Main Street in cool Highlands NC. Dogs are welcomed and featured in paintings, cushions and bowls, but are not at all required. My wife and I spent three nights here -- in suite 106 -- in July 2015. The staff, elegance, gardens, and covered parking were all impressive. All... More

From the initial conversation with Michael helping us with accommodations and later with Robert K. guiding and providing professional, friendly service, this up scale hotel met all our expectations and much more. For the first time we felt proud to have our miniature schnauzer, Sophie, to accompany us on our trip. We felt the hotel appreciated her as much as... More

This hotel feels luxurious but it really is a Great Value! Stayed three nights for what I was going to have to pay for one night down the street. Yes, the other is FAB, but this certainly didn't make us feel like we were slumming it. This Hotel was clean(everything is brand new) and stylish. The rooms were large and... More

Lovely, small boutique hotel with a definite dog friendly theme. Continental breakfast was quite sufficient (muffins are yummy) to keep us fortified until deciding which restaurant we would try at lunch time. There are quite a few choices within a couple of blocks of the hotel. We stayed in a Superior King Suite and were thrilled with the amount of... More

From the front desk to the room and everything in between it was by far the best experience I've ever enjoyed in Highlands. I was able to have my pet with me and in fact the whole place was so elegantly geared to pets.

We spent the weekend of the 4th of July at this beautiful hotel. We had a magnificent suite with a fireplace. My dog, Napoleon, felt right at home. He got plenty of treats and he was allowed to wonder throughout this charming hotel. Robert was so helpful and made us feel right at home always ready to please. Breakfast was... More

Lovely hotel right on Main Street in downtown Highlands. Regulars of Old Edwards, this place caught my attention on a recent visit because it was pet friendly (something OEI does not allow) and very well appointed from the outside. Highlands is a very dog friendly town in general (many of the restaurants have outdoor seating and you can bring your... More

Been going to families house in highlands over 40 years and never stayed downtown but we loved this hotel. Cabin booked so we booked this hotel and we are glad we did. Great people and great location. We walk ever day and shopped and ate. The room was very comfortable and big. Breakfast was fine and the staff was very... More

My husband and I visited in March of this year and had a fabulous time. We stayed in one of the King fireplace suites with our six pound fur baby Bella. Even though this is a hotel for pets, it is extremely clean. The only suggestion I would make, is to have more of a variety at the continental breakfast.... More
