My mother in law and I were looking for something in the Hendersonville area for the Apple Festival. We were very pleased with our choice. The lodge was great, the rooms were clean and perfectly nice. Everyone at the lodge was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and the onsite restaurant.. I would definitely go back there!

I spent two nights at the Etowah Valley Hotel, and it was ok. I can't work up a lot of enthusiasm about anything except the biscuits at breakfast, which were outstanding! I should start by saying that I don't golf, so maybe I missed the point of this place. I liked the view from the balcony--all of that green is... More

My family stayed for one night after visiting some friends camping in Pisgah National Forest. The friendly woman at the front desk made sure we had enough tickets for what turned out to be a great free breakfast in the morning. The room was not fancy but it was clean and comfortable. In the morning, we openned the windows to... More

My wife and stayed there one night for an event we to attend the next day in Cashiers. It is a perfect set-up for golfers with 3 nine-hole courses, but also has plenty to do for the non-golfers including a swimming pool, bocce ball court, croquet court, horseshoe pits, etc. We also had a nice walk on the cart paths... It was a nice place especially if you enjoy golf. They have 3 9 hole courses and I arrived on a Friday in July and they were able to get me a tee time around 5:00. The rooms are very basic and they are set up for guys golf foursomes basically. They were clean and neat, just a bit bare,... More

My family and I were in the Brevard area visiting beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails and when we realized we hadn't gotten to see everything we planned, we decided to stay close by for the night. Both (and only) Brevard hotels were booked and they prompted us to Etowah Valley Golf and Lodge. We contacted Etowah and the front desk... More

For $99 the room was not worth the money AT ALL. We stayed Saturday night,10/26, in an outdated room with one of the worst beds I've slept on in an extremely long time. The bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were paper thin (we had 2 doubles and used every pillow in the room for the... More

I had business in Hendersonville over the weekend and was having difficulty finding a room because of all the "leaf peepers". Etowah Golf Lodge was only 89.00 a night so I was not expecting much but I was more than pleased with the our experience there. The other reviews here are true- the decor is a bit dated, but the... We attended a couples tournament and it rained for four days. Cart path only-----and, yet, we still had a great time. The course remained playable in spite of a great deal of rain. The food service was excellent----the food servers were, as usual, very nice. The rooms are a bit outdated; however, they are clean and well maintained. The clubhouse... More

I found the reviews below to be accurate- the decor is outdated and the beds are very firm, but everything was clean and the people were friendly. The porch was a nice surprise in the morning and the selection and quality at breakfast was excellent.
