I had a hard time deciding between a rating of 4 or 5---4 because the bathroom was small: but a 5 because it was so comfortable and clean. And then there is the location; 3 miles from Jump-off-rock which may be the best location for a sunset photo shot in the Asheville area---and that's saying something. Very comfortable, clean and... We stayed at Echo Mountain October, 2013. Our room was the last/end room in the main building. The views were beautiful and it was very easy to get to from downtown Hendersonville. Breakfast was good, but I would recommend going when they first start serving. The first morning we waited and our food was not piping hot, simply because of... More

Stayed here for a night after a visit to the Biltmore Estate. We had the smallest room which was very pretty and in the main building, the inn is situated high in the hills but Hendersonville is easy to get to and well worth visiting. There are several areas when you can sit and relax, very old worldly and comfortable.... More

We stayed at the Echo Mountain Inn for two nights in August 2014. It is located up on the mountain about 2 miles from Hendersonville. It is an easy drive and is very easy to find.It was quite and peaceful and we had two good nights sleep. We stayed in the main building in the Regal room and it was... More

We chose this hotel after finding good reviews and nice pictures online--and the price is reasonable. In nearly every way it exceeded my expectations. The wonderful bits: a beautiful (but winding) drive only a couple of miles from Hendersonville (an amazing little town in its own right), a gorgeous exterior, beautiful and comfy public rooms, a lovely pool (unless it's... Quaint facilities. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. This is a great place for a get away or a family reunion. Every room is different. Sun rises on the back porch are magnificent. There is hiking nearby as is the charming town of Hendersonville. Conveniently located to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I was in Hendersonville for ten days of training. If you want rooms that look the same in CA as they do in PA or enjoy being in the center of a busy (read loud) city then perhaps EMI is not for you. I stayed in the main building upstairs in the Blue Room. The windows filling the back wall... More

This was a single night getaway for us. We were looking for a charming, historic inn with an outdoor pool. The great: First, the location, a straight shot from downtown Hendersonville. Easy to find, even in the dark. Second, the condition, comfort and decor of the main indoor areas (lobby, dining room, sun porch, parlor) are wonderful and welcoming. Third,... More

This was our second stay at Echo Mountain Inn and both times were amazing. Love the friendly, laid back personality of the people who work there. They were very accomodating and made every effort to meet our needs, including a roll away bed for an unexpected guest. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The place was... More

Most of my daughter's out of town wedding guests stayed at the inn earlier this summer. They all enjoyed their time at the inn and found the owners to be very hospitable and the accommodations and service especially nice. Throughout the entire planning process and then the event weekend the staff at the inn were extremely helpful, polite, service-oriented and... More
