I was traveling with my daughter, taking her to job interviews, and needed to spend the night in Hendersonville. We were tired of the same old chain hotels, so decided on the Claddagh (primarily because it was cheaper than the other B&B's, and we found a room with two beds). It was a block off Main Street, and we were... more

The Inn itself is clean and a nice location if u want convenience. Right outside the door is a main road and behind the inn is a main road so there is traffic and can be heard car trailers and such. One of the drawbacks of the place is it is located really close to the field where the play... more

We always stay at B&B's when we travel due to the personal touches and hospitality. We experienced none of this at the Claddagh. I do not know who checked us in as they never introduced themselves. The only other time we saw "staff" was at breakfast which was very nondescript (toast, fried potato patty, scrambled egg, muffin, and some fruit)... more

My wife and I spent two fabulous days at the Claddagh Inn! We arrived at the inn during the middle of happy hour and enjoyed eating cheese and crackers while sipping red wine on the spacious outdoor porch. The owners were very courteous and helpful in providing us information and the room we chose was quite comfortable. Since the inn... more

While visiting the Asheville area this past Fall, I was unable to find good accommodations so made my way down to Hendersonville which I also had planned to visit. I stumbled upon the Claddagh Inn, which was a delightful find after having traveled for so many hours. I had planned to stay just one night and move on, but found... more

After some travel experience I have learned it is more fun and often less expensive to stay in an interesting hotel, inn, or B&B than a chain. For starters, since the establishment is private I find more care to be taken on the rooms, and other special perks. The Claddagh is very warm and friendly and not too social. The... more

Since my elderly parents moved lots of medical equipment into their house, it's been easier for our family to stay in an inn when we visit. Even though the Claddagh needed a lot of work, we always found it to reveal eccentric and harmless surprises every time we stayed there. The first time we arrived, there was a claw-footed bathtub... more

My husband and I came to drop our kids off at a local camp and we had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Claddagh. We stayed two nights at this charming little bed and breakfast and were impressed with everything about it. From our well-appointed room to the excellent breakfast, the Claddagh exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at other... more

This was probably THE worst experience we've ever had (and we are well-traveled). There is no air-conditioning (at least it wasn't on when we were there) in the main house, only in the rooms themselves. Our room was absolutely filthy, especially the bathroom. It looked like it was never cleaned before we got there. The floor was covered with previous... more

I really waffled between a neutral/average and an above average rating here, because I felt like Claddagh fell somewhere in between. The Inn is a beautiful huge mansion with lots of charm. I felt like the rooms were a little pricey though before I booked it and I still feel that way after staying there. We stayed Saturday - Tuesday... more
