I so looked forward to our visit to The Inn and I was not disappointed. It was very inviting and comfortable. They have incorporated so much history into the place. Chef Marti is like a walking history book. But the BEST part of the visit was being there with foodies like me. My cooking class was so much fun and... More

Marty and Stormy were wonderful hosts. They have filled the inn with memorabilia collected during their navy years and subsequent years at the house white house. All very interesting. They are artist in the kitchen too. We had a great nights stay followed by a wonderful breakfast the next morning.

While traveling the interstate I looked for an interesting quick overnight and dinner stop near the especially inexpensive gasoline stations on the NC/SC border. This place seemed to fit the bill when I glanced at the reviews. I should have read the reviews more closely. Perhaps there is no way to make cheap gas interesting. I think the proprietors strive... This is the very best B & B that I have ever stayed in. Marti is the Chef and could not have been nicer. He was a GREAT host. The breakfast was wonderful. The beds were also great. Will go back there when they have room for us. I also am a chef and my wife and I took his... More

We found this Inn through TravelZoo and I bought an overnight stay plus cooking classes. We enjoyed meeting Chef Marti and the other two ladies with whom we cooked. We spent all afternoon cooking, chatting and eating our rustic pizza, Greek salad and creme brulee. We live about an hour away and were specifically coming to cook and sleep over,... More

My husband and I decided to getaway for our 12 year wedding anniversary to a place away from the traditional resort commercialized hotel. We found this B&B and were very happy. It is different from a hotel because you get personal attention. Upon arrival the owner Chef Mart, Executive chef to the US Presidents Bush and Clinton, met us to... More

I had the pleasure of staying at this B&B recently and I found the food to be as good as what the President eats and that's because the owner cooked for the White House at Camp David! The rooms are very clean and their historic home is nestled back in a quiet neighborhood. You will love it!

Been to several bed & breakfast in different states, Found The Inn of the Patriots has been the most exciting & filled with lots of history. The breakfast food in three words WOW,WOW,WOW, until you had angel food french toast for breakfast you haven't lived the finer life ---most delicious. I thought I made good french toast, but Chef Marti... More

Traveling from the North, my husband and I stayed in May of 2014. Colonial enthusiasts, we were impressed to see so many historical collectibles and artifacts. Owners and history buffs, Chef Marti and wife, Stormy, took us on a personal tour through each room of the museum and shared their knowledge and personal stories of former Presidents, Colonial artifacts and...
