You can't beat the hospitality and the location. The Inn was clean, the owner very pleasant and informative but not overbearing the way some innkeepers can be. We stayed in 3rd floor chancellor room- very nice and private with bed, sitting room and bathroom. Breakfast was great and cookies at night in the kitchen. Location is across the street from... Stayed here while in town for an ECU on-campus event. Chris, innkeeper and owner, was a terrific host and very accommodating of our late arrival and need to leave our car parked there for most of the next day (even after we had checked out). It felt more like staying with a family friend than a business. Breakfast was top-notch,... More

I recently traveled to Greenville on business and was pleasantly surprised to be accommodated in this lovely inn, instead of a hotel. Chris, the owner, was very accommodating! The owner is a great guy, who is very concerned with making sure that his guests are comfortable. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and across the street from the campus. A great place to stay when visiting ECU. You can't beat 5th Street Inn.

We were in the Professor's Room, which was immaculate and comfortable, although the bathroom was about the size of a closet. The house is well-maintained and well-located, with a comfortable, screened porch which we made good use of. The innkeeper seemed to be distracted, every time we had contact with him, although he did recommend an excellent restaurant for dinner.... More

i always look for b&b's as opposed to hotels so i was happy to find the 5th street inn which is located right across from the campus of ECU! this exceptional b&b is the only one in historic greenville and a fine one it is! let me say that its against my better judgement to write this review because every...
