First visit. Beautiful log home in a quiet, secluded area. Very clean. Very friendly and accommodating owners/operators. Excellent breakfast. You would not regret your choice to stay at this location.

This was our first visit & although we may never have an opportunity to return, we will have fond memories of our stay, especially the friendliness of Jim & Margaret, who easily bonded the various guests into a temporary family. And oh, my, Margaret 's breakfast! It wasn't until we were pulling out that I realized the one night stay... More

The room was clean, very charming, and comfortable. The view from the front porch was breath taking. Nearest town is about 15 minutes away. Breakfast was the best we had in the south. We weren't offered a key to lock our room, and didn't ask for one (it was our first stay and didn't know what was customary). Over all... More

Set on a beautiful hillside very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this magnificent log home is hosted by an exceptionally friendly couple who cooked us a gourmet-quality breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Chose as handy stop on our trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is handy. However: note that for dinner you will have to drive a few miles into Sparta. Absolutely gorgeous log building. Innkeepers lovely. Attractive & comfortable room & bed; great sheets & towels. Nice attention to detail: e.g.:Cushions available for wooden chairs on back porch, which had... More

We stayed at Glade Valley B&B for two nights on our trip through the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were greeted at the door by Jim, who made us feel comfortable right away (this was our first B&B and didn't know what to expect). We wanted to go out to dinner, so Jim had a book of their favorite restaurants in... More

We stayed overnight while driving the blue ridge parkway. It is very conveniently located just off the parkway. The cabin is beautifully situated away from the road surrounded by woods and a well maintained yard. Everything is spotlessly clean! The rooms are large and very nicely decorated. It's the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature in the rocking chairs... More

We were traveling down the Blue Ridge Parkway for our 50th wedding anniversary and stayed at Jim and Margaret's fabulous home for a night. What a peaceful and beautiful place! Hunter, their dog, greeted us as soon as we arrived and made us feel right at home. There were two other couples staying that night and we sat up talking... More

We have had an incredible experience. As an interracial couple I am very cautious in place we may stay particlarly in the south. Margret and Jim saw us a people, shared in our laughter, triumphs and joy. The food is absolutely amazing, atmosphere serene, and company most mermoriable...good people....good place. We will be back again

Such a beautiful and peaceful B&B. This was a weekend getaway and to visit some of the local wineries in the area. We just loved our stay. We stayed in the Shenandoah Room which was beautifully decorated and has easy access to the porch. The linens on the bed were so soft and loved the king size bed. Margaret &... More
