Such a beautiful and peaceful B&B. This was a weekend getaway and to visit some of the local wineries in the area. We just loved our stay. We stayed in the Shenandoah Room which was beautifully decorated and has easy access to the porch. The linens on the bed were so soft and loved the king size bed. Margaret &... More

We've stayed with Glade Valley twice, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Both times were perfect. Jim and Margaret are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with Pumpkin and Hunter, too. If we have a reason to come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again!

One of the most peaceful and relaxing B&B we've ever visited. The icing on the cake is having breakfast with Jim and Margaret, especially when cinnamon rolls are on the menu. You can see that Jim and Margaret have given a lot of thought to every detail throughout the rooms and cabin. This was our 3rd trip and we look... More

Beautiful setting, gracious hospitality, well-appointed rooms and fabulous breakfast--we enjoyed it thoroughly! Jim and Margaret are excellent hosts and very attentive to detail. The log construction and porch rockers, glider and swing are perfect for the lovely mountainside location. The Mauna Loa room is the only upstairs room, giving it a very private feel, with a lovely vaulted ceiling and... More

Our Room- Denali Had a nice side view of the mountains as it is on the far end and it was lovely sitting on the deck listening to nothing other than... More

We chose this B&B after reading reviews on TA and it turned out to be a great choice. A little bit off the beaten path, but oh, so quiet!!! The place was built as a B&B and it really works so much better than many others which are converted homes. What made this place so great? -The beautiful quiet setting.... More

What a beautiful place just off the Blue Ridge Parkway! Quiet location. Very welcoming and friendly innkeepers. Breakfast had a lot of choices and everything tasted perfect! Especially the cinnamon rolls. Our room (Mesa Verde) was one of the smallest, but with a outside deck to sit on.

This is a very special place with very friendly innkeepers. You will feel welcome the moment you arrive. Glade Valley is located in a quiet peaceful setting just off the a Blue Ride Parkway. The place is immaculately clean, and the breakfast is one of the best. This is clearly not your average Bed & Breakfast. Glade Valley is...."Above The... More

Beautiful bed and breakfast tucked in to the foothills of the blue ridge mountains. Jim and Margaret have built this amazing purpose built bed and breakfast with spectacular views woven into the woods. The breakfast was incredible. Quiche, Cinnamon French toast, sausage bacon, made from scratch raspberry Danish. The grounds are beautiful with walking trails. We stayed there because we were... More

I picked Glade Valley B&B because we were traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was nearby. What a wonderful choice! Margaret and Jim made us feel welcome from the first moment. After we were shown the room, she offered us Lemonade and Cookies. The whole place was clean and beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The next... More
