My husband and I attended a wedding recently in Fuquay Varina, and researched pet-friendly Bed and Breakfasts. We were delighted to find the Carombola Inn! After making our reservations, the owner, Robbie-Lane Jackson, e-mailed to ask about our preferences, room location, dietary requirements and more!

The lovely two story historic house sits on 88 acres. The furnishings were charming -- some wonderful antiques, some "shabby chic" and some grandmother's attic! It all worked, and was so warm and inviting.

We were allowed to choose our room, and we selected the downstairs master bedroom next to front door (perfect for taking our pet out!). The room was well-appointed with an antique sleigh bed, marble-topped dresser, comfortable antique upholstered chairs, and even a basket of organic toiletries. Our bath was also well-stocked with organic soaps and shampoos.
