We came here on a scouting trip for new places to stay in our travel trailer. After the long hike down the Outer Banks we ended up staying here in one of the cabins for a night with our two black labs. Since the truck is always ready for camping we had what we needed. The location is amazing as... More

We hired a cabin for 1 night. The man who check us in was kinda weird. Didn't really greet us or asked us what we wanted, he just stared at us. Which made us a bit uncomfortable. He spoke very soft. Barely understandable. Our cabin was nice and clean. Just wood with a few windows. They build in a queen... More

Nice place, great small beach for wind sports (North winds) or just chilling out in the water. Awesome (and cleanest) facilities I ever saw on a campground. The day stay rate is just 5$ per car which is pretty cheap. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice clean campground by the water, very friendly staff and visitors (no loud noise) Power was good and the store is a bonus, they have beer and wine available as well as ice cream ;) bath house had plenty of hot water, never ran out while we stayed Will stay again, if in the area

We stayed in a cabin mid July for 7 nights. It was great until the last two nights. Friday night a couple of kids rented a cabin next to us and diagonal from us. They weren't too bad with noise the first night but the next morning they had their trash, empty beer cans, and liquor bottles left out in... More

First, we made our reservations for a week at Frisco Woods in March - when they opened for the season. We selected the site that we wanted and were really looking forward to our first stay with them. When we arrived, it was raining. We got set up and quickly decided that this not going to be a good week.... More

We stayed here. Days with 2 Adults, 3 school-age kids and a dog. Stayed at C8 - right on the canal - and our kids loved fishing and crabbing right from the site. We stayed in a 35' TT and the sites are large and level. No noisy neighbors and the sound views are amazing. Gorgeous sunsets each night. Large... More

We did a lot of research before booking our campground. And the location of this one right on the sound did not disappoint. The views especially the sunsets made great endings to great days of fun. This campground is large, with lots of tent sites too. Bath houses were clean Staff was super friendly We will be back

Just spent 7nights here and had a blast! The price is reasonable for the number of people the cabins accommodate but it would be nice if the full size mattress wasn't so thin as our hipbones were digging into the plywood bed all night. Rectified this situation by taking the two extra twin mattresses and putting them side by side... More
