I was just up there this past week and as usual, love it! Suzy and Karin have become friends of mine now....Karin and I share the love for art. The place is really clean and full of wonderful antiques. And nothing beats Karin's breakfasts!!! She could open her own restaurant! Location is really nice too....not too far from all the... More

Wow! My husband and I went for the weekend for my birthday. We only live 1.5 hours away and wanted to go somewhere close, but still get away. This was the perfect place. Karin and Suzy were wonderful hostesses. The breakfast was a work of art! Considering Karin is an artist, and a good one, this came as no suprise!... More

The Blaine House was listed on the City of Franklin's website as a recommended B&B and now I know why! My boyfriend and I stayed in the Annie Mae suite upstairs, complete with two comfortable sitting chairs, a new mattress, a writing desk, and an amazing original cast iron tub! The home was absolutely lovely, we loved the vintage feel... More

The Mildred Suite is large, comfortable, and clean. The location requires driving, but is convenient for local attractions. Breakfast is phenomenal; tasty and filling. Hostesses are friendly and aware of attractions and strive to provide current information. Sunporch pleasant to start and end day in. More

My husband and I just came back from a little mountian town in N.C. We stayed at the Blaine House B&B, our first time to stay at B&B. We enjoyed the charming and clean room that was our home for 3 days. Each morning we could smell the breakfast that was being prepared by one of the innkeepers (Karin) who's... More

We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before so we weren't sure what to expect. We went to do some gem mining in the area and just get away for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean, cozy and comfortable. We slept very well while we were there. The owners Karin and... More

Our stay at the Blaine House will be one that we will remember - until we can't remember any more. Karin and Suzy were awesome in every way and made our stay as if we stopped in to stay with close family. Each gourmet breakfast was made to perfection and was the best we've EVER had. We couldn't choose a... More

Normally we travel by motor home, but due to an electrical problem in out MH we decided on a B&B, our first experience. The staff at Blaine House was absolutely fabulous in every way, and made us feel like we were at our own home. The house is a 100 year old home, with exquisite period furnishings, and the gourmet breakfasts... This B&B is located in the heart of Franklin, NC. It was our first stay in a B&B so naturally we were a little skeptical. Upon arriving we were met by the hostess and shown to our room. My wife and I were overwhelmed with cleanliness of every area of the house. Our upstairs rooms were comfortable. We shared a... More
