Room was not clean. Lights did not work. Towels had holes. The bathmat is a small piece of paper. And we were almost the only one in the place. Wifi would not work, and the clerk said "the wifi is slow". Go anywhere else!

Had an opportunity to be in Franklin, NC this past weekend and ended up at the Sapphire Inn. It was a quaint little place with all of the ammenities except in-room coffee makers. This motel was clean and not too crowded while we were there. My only problem was that the room was facing the highway and you could hear... More

Well. We stayed here on a fri night. The lady checking us in was smoking. The lobby smelled like smoke. Old key system. The bed was two mattresses on a spring. Strange. It's old. Old aluminum window. Found a peices of a wrapper in the sheets. Was hoping it wasn't a condom wrapper. In the morning the office doesn't open... More

first off they had a sign outside listing $39.99 a night. When we went to rent a room they rudely told us the rooms were $59.99 a night and "didn't care what that sign said" and refused to honor their own advertising. All other places were booked so we were forced to stay here. I went to take a shower... More

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in! We should have left as soon as we opened the door. The air conditioner made so much noise we couldn't sleep. Which was a shame because the bed was very comfortable. But I would never stay there again and would tell everyone to keep driving.

I was having my home remodeled for the week and decided to check in to Sapphire for a room. "What are you here for, the car show, the gem show, or to visit family," snapped the desk clerk. I told her that I'm having my home worked on and would like accommodations for the night. "No locals, do you hear,"... More

My wife and I spent the night on 6/21/14 while taking a scenic drive through the area. Hampton Inn only had a full size accessible room for $99. Quality Inn only had smoking rooms avaliable so we just rode down the road and came upon this motel. Got a room with 2 queens for $62 with tax. The room was... More

I enjoy the country life and good old southern hospitality. The owners are personable and sweet. The hotel is very affordable. The understanding is there, that the middle class population tries to have a "good time vacationing" also. I really hope any new comers see this as well. God Bless.

The lady who checked us in was very nice & accomodating. The room was old & average, beds were terrible. That's the worst thing about it. Best thing was location, there was a restaurant nearby called Ms. Lois's, amazing country food at a great price!

Stayed 3/21/14, we had a King on the second floor. This is an older hotel, don't expect it to be brand new, it's not, the room was clean, and neat. We had no problems and the beds and linens were clean. Typical for the price. Don't be afraid, you need a place after being on the road all day this... More
