We spent one night at KOA Smithfield to celebrate our anniversary. We felt like family as soon as we walked in the door to check-in. VERY welcoming, very military friendly. We stayed in K3 kabin and it was really nice. We were impressed with how clean it was. We didn't bring our kids (hello, it's our anniversary! :)) but we... More

When traveling to and from N.Y. To Fa. on I 95 we are always looking for good campgrounds. We have found the Smithfield KOA to be one we return to frequently . We are always impressed with their friendly attitude and helpfulness. The pull through sights are long and level. The leash free dog park was enjoyed by our dog... More

We had heard about Tucker Lake & decided to check it out as well as look at lodging options near the lake. When we stopped by the KOA to see it, a staff member took the time to escort us around. We tent camped the following weekend with our eight year old. Check in was simple. We failed to buy... More

No fence around drain ditches. No places to park 2 vehicles. Then they want to gripe about their grass. Would not let me & my sister In law walk our dog in the doggy park because we had too many kids. 3 in each family. Just not happy with their service or campground. Their washer/dryers are too small and over... More

We have stayed at the Smithfield KOA location twice and have enjoyed each visit. The sites are shady, level, roomy and have all the amenities including free wi-fi and cable tv. The bathrooms have always been clean and the office is well stocked. The campground is quiet but located only about 1/2 mile off I-95. Great location for shoping the... More

We were looking for a campground to use as a "stopover" on our way down to Myrte Beach. I had mapped out four different campgrounds each about an hour apart figuring that we would wait & see how far we felt we could make it on the first day. OUt of the the four campgrounds I contacted, this was BY... More
