We found this to be a friendly place to spend the night. We felt safe with a guard on duty through the night. Breakfast the next morning got us off to a good start after being serinaded by Shelby's cheerful voice. She went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with the breakfast experience. I would like... More

We were burglarized while at breakfast, allegedly by an former employee with a master key. He was described by travelers in the room next to ours; police and manager immediately knew who he was. Cash and items were not found/returned although the 'person' was arrested that day and released on bond. He had a history of such crimes. It would... More

Toilet seat would not stay up. Parts of room quite dusty. In general this is not up to the standards of the Hampton Inns that I have utilized. This one is nearly 30 years old and needs updating, although I realize it is one of the least expensive. I would avoid it on any future trips.

Shelby got our day off to a great beginning with her wonderful sense of humor, efficiency, friendliness, helpfulness, and yes, her singing. We enjoyed our night at the Hampton Inn, but Shelby was definitely the highlight.

We stopped here for one night on our way north on 95. I suggest getting a first floor room since there isn't an elevator. Shelby, the breakfast attendant was great! She was singing to the guests that morning - much to their surprise! Very friendly place and staff. I would stay here again anytime.

Be advised that this hotel has all it's doors to the rooms located on the outside of the hotel. There is no elevator. We booked a 2 bed first floor room. We were given a king on the 2nd floor. The carpet was dirty. It felt seedy and unsafe. We did not stay.

We have been disappointed with our 2-night stay at this location. To begin with, this location is an outside entrance to the rooms-older Hampton Inn. That should have told us something right from the beginning. The people seemed nice enough but there needs to be 'substance' with the nice-ness. We got the keys to our FIRST room only to find... This a clean but somewhat utlitarian hotel. The rooms and the beds are comfortable Not a place for a long term stay. The pool is small but adequate. Very good location right off the highway. Very nice breakfast, and coffee all day long. Best feature is a most pleasant staff, especially the woman in charge of the breakfast.

I always used Hampton Inn when I travel but this hotel is one of the cleanest I stayed in. The staff is beyond words -- the nicest staff who strive to meet you needs before you even know what they may be!

I would stay here again in a heart beat… not a single complaint. I LOVED having four FLUFFY pillows on bed rather than two flat ones, nice shampoo rather than cheap… good coffee… all the little things that make it nice.
