It was our first trip to Florida in an RV. It was also our first overnight in an RV. Yes we are nubbies to the RV world. We were not sure how far to drive, and after reading a number of reviews of campgrounds in the Carolinas we decided to try out Lazy Acres. It was about the midway point... More

Shady, with dogwoods blooming and flower baskets handing from the trees. Catch and release fishing in a quiet pond. Very clean bathhouses - looked new. Everything in the laundry was working at $1.50 / load. Abundant squirrels to drive our dogs crazy. Friendly staff. Easy access from I-95. Internet was typical and better than no internet access at all.

This is a very nice, rural campground. People are friendly. Sites are large and level. Some have paved patios; all have a table and fire ring. The restrooms and laundry (3 washers, 3 dryers, $1.50 each) are clean. For recreation, there's a catch-and-release lake and a large swimming pool. We only stayed one night, but we'd like to come back... More

Wow this place was beautiful, check in was quick and simple and affordable. I must say this place was super super clean, peaceful just perfect. Pull thru site are simple in and out. Pool was clean playground simple but perfect. I think this location is more for an older crowd rather than families with loud kids. It is very peaceful... More

At first I wasn't too happy with the sandy street and paths, having been in sandy places already on this trip, however when I put on tennis shoes it was much better. We absolutely loved the pond area nestled within a lovely pine tree "forest". Other than the planes flying over early morning, it was very peaceful. The reviewer from... More

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend enroute to Myrtle Beach. What a great choice of a place to stay! We really enjoyed out time here. We have a 34 foot motorcoach. Here is the positives list: --Easy off and on to I-95 --Easy check in - they were ready for us, and we were in our spot in minutes... More

Lots of trees in this natural setting, which we prefer over sun and concrete slabs. Sites are basically hard sand, which was fine for us. Flowers on walkway to facilities is a pleasant touch! Bathrooms bright, clean and new. Good laundry facility. Nice pool! Fire rings provided at some but not all sites, so ask if you want one. Stocked... More
